NOTD - Across the Universe of a Mermaid's Dream
1:02 PMIf you saw my previous post, you might have seen 2 gorgeous beauties from Deborah Lippmann. My friend Nikki sent them. You see, she's been holding a box of books hostage from me for I'm guessing 4 years now. lol She felt bad and decided she needed to surprise me with these to make her feel better about not sending them to me yet. So, who am I to tell her she's wrong? ;o) I love you, Nikki! You'll never understand how excited I was about receiving these!! Thank you, so very much! <3
Back to my nails since that is what brought you here. How do you pick between these two?!
You don't! You find a way to make them work together! So, that's what I attempted! :o) I probably won't use them together again. They didn't look awful, but they didn't wow me together.
My mani! <3 Yes, I had several broken nails. Instead of trying to save them all I decided to file them down. At least they'll grow back.
Across the Universe is a deep navy jelly filled with baby blue micro glitter and baby blue and grass green hex glitter. This is 2 coats, but after seeing it in daylight, I noticed I probably could have used a 3rd. Topped with Gelous and Seche Vite. It is gorgeous!

Mermaid's Dream is a perfect seafoam blue/green shimmer filled with gold and blue turquoise glass fleck glitter and small blue turquoise hex glitter. This is 2 beautiful coats topped with Gelous and Seche Vite.
It looks so gritty, but it's not. It's all the layers of glitter in there. It's so much more stunning in person than a picture could ever capture. BEAUTIFUL!!
