NOTD - Pinky and The Brain

Getting a little laid back on this Thursday! I've got a fun and simple mani inspired by a childhood favorite cartoon of mine.
Pinky and the Brain!! When watching The Animaniacs, I couldn't wait for the Pinky and the Brain part to come on. I wish they would have had their own show. I could watch their antics go on and on. So when I first saw that Twee&Honey had a Brain inspired polish, it immediately went on my wish list! You can imagine my excitement when it showed up in my mailbox last week! I knew exactly what I'd pair it with too! I snagged a few of the Milani holos in a blog sale...Digital was the perfect "Pinky" color! Details below!!
This is three coats of Milani - 3D Holographic - Digital and three coats of Twee&Honey - The Same Thing We Do Every Night, Pinky topped with Cult Nails Wax That wax effect top coat.
The application of Digital was beautiful! There were no complains and minimal clean up. It was really quite impressive. I'm only sad that no where around here got them in and I only have 4 from the collection. My stores rarely get the specialty Milani polishes. It makes me sad because they really are great polishes. These pics were taken indoors so you can't really see the holo in Digital, but I included a pic that I took outside at the bottom of the post.
The application of The Same Thing We Do Every Night, Pinky really surprised me! In looking at the bottle when I got it, the glitter danced around in the base a little more than I like. Usually when it moves like that it's hard to get to attach to the brush and it sinks and is just over all annoying. Don't judge a book by it's cover! This polish was beautiful! I had no problems getting glitter on the brush and them and the polish slid on my nail like butter. I was absolutely overjoyed to find out that my initial impression was WAY off!
