Sorry I took the last week off, but I really focused on sleeping and trying to get me and the munchkin to feel better and trying to NOT make my husband sick. We happened to get a little sun though so I was able to finally get shots of Twin Suns, the solar polish in Ellagee's Sci-Fi Geeks collection. It's been over cast and rainy here for over a month, so I made sure I used the sun while I could. No matter how crappy I felt!

Ellagee - Twin Suns

Twin Suns is described as "a sheer pale yellow top coat that changes to peachy-orange in direct sunlight with a golden glass fleck shimmer. Inspired by the twin suns of Tatooine.".

This is two coats of Twin Suns on a naked nail with no top coat.

The pale yellow doesn't really show up. It's really very sheer. The glitter is the focus when inside and it shows. It's a wonderful shimmery top coat that applies smooth and has a great dry time.

A shot outside. You can slightly see the change in color of my nails. They look more pink than usual. That's the color change in the sun. Really, it looks like a tinted pink french manicure base with glitter, when in the sun.

Another shot. Not a drastic change, but there is some change.

I decided to try it over a simple white creme to see it would show the change in color a bit more.

This is two coats of Twin Suns over two coats of  Cult Nails - Tempest.

It's really pretty just these two alone. A simple white with gold shimmer. Why not?!

Here is the combo outside. Just a light peachy orange. Subtle change, but it's there.

The Sci-Fi Geeks collection just keeps getting better and better. I only have one more left to show you all! :o( You can grab Twin Suns over on http://ellagee.com/ for $10 for a full sized bottle and $5 for a mini. Twin Suns costs a bit more than the others due to the solar/color changing aspect. This is my first color changing polish and it's definitely worth it. I really like the subtle change. If it was something completely drastic, I don't think I'd enjoy it as much.
