BIG NEWS!!! I've been accepted into the Barielle blogger family!! I'm so excited you guys!! It was hard for me to keep this quiet for the past few weeks. Feels so good to spill the beans! Since I was accepted shortly after their Velvets collection was released, they sent me base and top coats as well as 6 polishes that are a mixture of old and new shades instead. I have everything swatched for you today! I figured we'd end this week with a nice big finish!

My Week Away is described as "a dusty pink". A better description would be, a dusty rose creme with a seafoam green shimmer. By looking at the bottles, My Week Away was my favorite. I'm on a nude kick at the moment and this was very close, then that seafoam shimmer caught my eye and I was smitten. This is two coats for full opacity. $8

Shannon's Attitude is described as "a jelly purple with foil flakes". A beautiful royal purple jelly scattered with micro silver holographic hexes and holographic silver bars. This is three coats of Shannon's Attitude with some visible nail line still lingering. Easy to work with, until you try to get the bar glitter. Those suckers are stubborn! But the spattering of them on the nail is quite lovely in the end. I'm glad more don't come out. Too many would be too much. To me, it seems like Shannon is stubborn but beautiful. $8

Designer's Shoe is described as "a purple with blueish tone". They could have just said periwinkle creme. It's a beautiful periwinkle creme! This is two coats of Designer's Shoe for full opacity. Want to know a secret? When I was a kid, maybe 10 or 11 years old, I so very badly wanted a periwinkle Mercedes. Yeah, I know! What was I thinking? Not for a car!! But that's a big ol' yes for nails and this is perfection! $8

Take Me Shopping is described as "a bright hot pink". A stunning color that I'd say is more of a hot coral. This is two coats of Take Me Shopping for full opacity. If you're in need of a vibrant color for the summer that is a bit unique, you're going to want to look into getting a bottle of Take Me Shopping for yourself! $8

Sexy Mood is described as "a muted magenta". This dusty violet creme lives up to it's name. It's a playful, flirty shade of purple that puts a mysterious smirk on your face when you look at it. This is two coats of Sexy Mood for full opacity. $8

Swizzle Stix is described as "a pastel creme blue". This blue is amazing! Probably one of the most perfect shades of pastel blue I've got in my collection. This is two coats of Swizzle Stix for full opacity. $8

Barielle killed it with these colors! The jelly had a great formula, and even though the bar glitters were difficult to get out of the bottle, it was still very easy to work with. The cremes are amazing! So smooth, easy to use and self leveling. At $8 per bottle, they are very well priced! They can be found at www.barielle.com/. Trust me, worth checking out! You won't be sorry!

All of the above swatches used Barielle's Nail Rebuilding Protein base coat $17.50 and No Chip Speed Dry top coat $12.50 as well as A Girl Obsessed's Sweet Nectar cuticle oil $6.
