A couple weeks ago, I bought a couple polishes from a new indie I had seen popping up. Shinespark Polish is a 5-Free indie brand that is run by Molly. She's got a range of toppers, jellies, neons, holos, and she's been working on some thermals and solars. I knew I had some neons coming in from other indies so I found a couple toppers that sparked my interest. When my package arrived, I saw she had thrown in an extra mini which was really nice of her.

Block Party is described as "a glitter bomb of large, medium, and small hexes and bars in neon orange, pink, blue, yellow, green, and purple".
Shown is one dabbed coat of Block Party over SinfulColors Skylark.
I'm not a fan of bar glitter at all, but something about Block Party called to me. It's so pretty and colorful in the bottle I was perfectly ok with over looking the bar glitter. Got it home and went to use it and the formula was super thick and gloopy. That's ok, it happens, I added thinner. 10 drops. 20 drops. 30 drops. Nothing helped, so I moved on. I dabbed one coat of Block Party over Skylark. I couldn't get the bar glitter to behave and some of them were still sticking off the end of my nail, and my nails looked more glitter crowded than I was expecting with one coat. It doesn't look horrible once it is on, it is just difficult to work with. I'm gonna have to keep working on it with thinner.
Available in full sized only.
$8

Aurora Borealis is described as "a sheer topper that shifts from red to purple to blue".
Shown is one coat of Aurora Borealis over SinfulColors Calypso.
In the listing, she says it is best worn over black. With the blue shifts most people might even reach for a shade of blue. You all should know by now that I like to be the odd ball. I grabbed a green. Ultimately, I really liked the look of these together. Aurora Borealis was easy to work with and had a smooth application. A great way to extend a mani and change it up when you don't have time to completely change it.
Available in mini and full sizes.
$3.75/$8

Glitter Shake is a mixture of large, medium, and small hexes and bars in neon orange, pink, blue, yellow, green, and purple in a sheer, creamy base filled with iridescent and glass fleck shimmer.
Shown is one coat of Glitter Shake over Daily Hues Nail Lacquer Violet.
Glitter Shake is basically a thinned out version of Block Party in a different base. It applied smooth and I had no issues with the glitter or formula.
Not available on the site. Not sure if it is an upcoming polish or a prototype or what.

Shinespark Polish was a bit all over the place for me. Some hit. Some miss. Such is life. Either way they are beautiful polishes. Several other bloggers have reviewed products from her and loved them. Maybe what I got was off. It happens. However, she's a new indie and has only been around since the end of February. For her being so new, not half bad. Some little tweaks here and there, and she could blow up.

She's got a new collection releasing on the 29th, so keep an eye out for that. All of her links are below if you want to check things out.
