NOTD - Barielle - Peach Popsicle

A couple Barielle sales ago, I decided to make my first purchase. I had been eyeing Falling Star and decided to jump in and grab a couple other colors as well. When they got here, Falling Star was the only polish that didn't have some discoloration or separation to it. They had me pick 3 more colors to replace the 3 I had issues with. I've decided to show you one of the replacement polishes today!

GlitterLand's Grand Opening!!!

The lovely and wonderful Dahlia, of SassyNails and datyorkLOVES, got this crazy idea that she was going to open up a glitter shop. I know, such crazy talk!! Who in their right mind wants to buy glitter?!?! Oh yeah, that's right, only EVERYONE and their mother who loves anything about nails!!!

NOTD - Falling Star

Hello, all! I'm sorry for the small break I had to take. We had company in town and leading up to that it was major cleaning time. I missed you all! In a couple weeks I will be having to take 2 weeks off again, but I'm looking into getting guest bloggers to cover that time. It's the munchkin's 3rd birthday, and the hubby will be out of town for a month so I'll be handling the cleaning and preparation and company on my own. NOTD/Review - LEX Cosmetics - Tuilleries (Mardis Gras Wedding)

A few weeks ago, SneakPeeq had a deal where you'd get a $10 credit after peeqing at 5-10 items. During this deal, they had LEX Cosmetics as one of the brands they were offering. Luckily enough, when you peeqed their polishes they were $10. Perfect if you got the $10 credit! Well, when I went to check out, I noticed a link that said "Click here to get free shipping". Of course, I clicked it. I shared the info on my FB page and got free shipping on top of a free bottle of polish! Nothing much better than free polish huh? 

I had never heard of LEX Cosmetics before that day. It was free polish, I didn't care. I did my mani, still didn't go to their page and research them. I wanted to be able to review the product freely without knowing anything. So, first off... here is the polish I picked out...

NOTD - My Blue Baby Blues

Yesterday, I had a baby shower to go to. It was a lot of fun! I hadn't seen my friend in 3 years. Actually, the last time she saw me was when I was pregnant with Maggie. And the funny thing is, she's due just a few days before Maggie's birthday. There's always that off chance her baby will be born on Maggie's birthday. Would be funny... 

Anyway, for her baby shower I wanted to do something simple, but fun. I grabbed 10 of my blue glitter polishes and decided to do an ombre blue glitter mani. Obviously, I opted for blue because she's having a boy. I swiped each polish on a piece of paper so I could figure out what order to put them in. I thought I got it right, but after all was said and done, I had a couple that were a little off. It was ok though because it wasn't all that bad.

NOTD - I'm Seeing Spots

Last night I REALLY wanted to try my first tape mani. I failed miserably and will be trying that again at a later date. Then, I thought I would attempt a sponge mani. Once again, I failed miserably. At that point, I decided to try something different. After my dark Grimm inspired mani, I wanted something bright and cheerful. I had 3 bright colors and a sparkly top coat from my previous failed manis that I knew I needed to use.

NOTD - No Blue Monday Here!

My Wocka Wocka inspired mani was so bad I couldn't wait to get it off my fingers. I never got a chance to touch my nails over the weekend so I had to change it late last night. Everyone kept saying "blue mani", so that's what I did. I'm so happy with this mani! It's not as pretty as the Purple Rain/White Veil mani I did, but it's pretty (except for my clean up job which I had no idea about until I was resizing pictures - so please excuse that). Now, because I did this mani so late at night, I wasn't able to take pictures due to the lack of places to take pictures in good lighting when there is no sun. There will be no step-by-step pictures this time, but there won't be a lack of photos!

Hauls/Nail Mail - Sally's and CVS and the elusive Julep Mystery Box!

I have just recently realized that there is a Sally's Beauty Supply practically next door to my Ulta. I think I might have been blind or something. So, when I found out they were having a B2G1 Free sale, of course I had to go! The main things on my list were: a bottle of Gelous, a new bottle of Seche Vite, and a matte top coat. Want to take a guess on what I walked out with? Come on... I know you want to... That's right, I walked in for 3 items and I walked out with 12 (The 2 not shown are a bottle of nail polish remover and a package of nail wheels). Here comes the eye candy!!

NOTD - essence Color & Go, Rimmel London & Sally Hansen

Good morning, lovelies!! Thank you all for an amazing day yesterday! I was overwhelmed with all the support I teared up a little last night. You guys are awesome! 

Since I had such an amazing day, I decided I needed an amazing mani to go along with it. My only problem was I had no idea what to do! My daughter decided to stay up 2 hours past her bedtime so the last thing I want to do at 10 o'clock at night is stare at an enormous amount of nail polish to figure out what I want to do. I picked up so many beautiful polishes over the weekend that I decided to just pick from that pile! There were 2 polishes that were no brainers. I've been eyeing one for a little bit and the other I just couldn't get out of my head since I bought it, Rimmel London's Purple Rain and Sally Hansen's White Veil, both brands I haven't gotten to try yet either so it's a win/win for me! I was looking at the bottles trying to decide what direction I was going to go and I decided I needed a third color, for good measure. I opted for yet another brand I haven't been able to try yet, essence Color & Go's Nude It!. I don't know what told me that this would work, but it did and I love it!! Here are the colors I used...

I'm a Spoiled Sinful Cinderella

I wish I could say "Happy Sunday, everyone!", but I can't. I woke up sick and without any energy. SOOOO very thankful, my husband is home and can help with Maggie so I can try to get better as soon and as quickly as possible. As any mom knows, trying to take care of a kid that is not sick is not at all easy when you, yourself, is sick. It's like they know you're sick and their energy triples.
