LE Polish Darth Valentine Trio Swatch and Review

Now, onto the reason you came here...nail polish! LE Polish is releasing her unconventional Darth Valentine Trio this Saturday. I love that she made this trio. Instead of going all lovey-dovey or anti-love, she went Star Wars! Of course, I've got swatches of all three to show you all before I head out of town.

Together We Rule the Galaxy is described as "a charcoal grey jelly full of red micro glitter, gold shimmer, and scattered holo".

Together We Rule the Galaxy was more opaque than I was expecting it to be. Two coats was wonderfully opaque and full of glitter. Application was a lot smoother than I was expecting it to be as well, considering the amount of glitter in this beauty. I fell in love with this one as soon as i unwrapped it. I'm a sucker for a good black, and there is something mesmerizing about red glitter in a black base. I can't put my finger on it, but if you know please tell me!

Love Saber is described as "a fiery orange-leaning red full of shimmer and a small amount of scattered holo".
Shown is three thin coats of Love Saber with top coat.
Love Saber is such a fun shade of red! It looks more orange in the bottle than it does on the nail. Application is smooth and not too thin. In the right light you'll get flashes of pink that is absolutely incredible!

No, I am Your Valentine is described as "a black scattered holo with red shimmer".
Shown is two coats of No, I am Your Valentine with top coat.
No, I am Your Valentine is my favorite of the three. That subtle hint of red is everything once you get this in the right light. Easily a one coater, I did two for good measure though. Perfect formula!

Whether you are or aren't a Valentine's Day fan, this is the trio for you! We all need some dark, mysterious beauties in our lives. These are all great on their own, but would be wonderful as the base for some nail art as well. The Darth Valentine Trio will be available on Saturday, January 23rd at 12 noon EST. The trio will be available in both mini and full sizes for $6/$10 individually and $16/$28 for the whole trio. If you haven't tried LE Polish yet, you need to jump on this bandwagon now. She's still fairly new, but is killing everything she is putting out there.
