It's the first day of school here in Maryland. It's weird having the house so quiet this early. But I'm enjoying my coffee without any interruptions and, as much as I miss her...I've missed this. Can't relax for long cause I have to start prepping for our vacation. Today, I get to show you the newest collection from SuperChic Lacquer. She decided to stay away from her super holos this time, and went for more of a playful route...glow-in-the-dark polishes. The Firefly Collection is a set of seven super-squishy, transparent, jelly shades that consist of 3 amazing special effects: intense reflective iridescent micro glitters, scattered holo micro glitters, and a strong glow in the dark pigment. My Stunning Nails Macaroon Delight Collection Swatch and Review

We're going to take a little throw back today. I've got a set of macaron inspired pearlescent polishes from My Stunning Nails. This set of six pretties is the Macaroon Delight Collection. Yes, with two O's. But each one is, in fact, named for a different flavor of the French, almond-based, sweet. NOT the coconut one. She is a big fan of the traditional pearlescent polishes and decided to do a nice little rainbow set. She originally made them with iridescent flakies, but they were drowned out by the base. I recently received a package from Essie and Preen.me. I admit, it's been a while since I've used an Essie polish. The ones I had previously were difficult to work with and I realized I wasn't a fan of the brushes. When this opportunity came up I knew it was the perfect chance to try again. I'm so glad I did! I'm sorry I was absent yesterday. I needed a break. I went to type up my post the night before, and my computer basically gave me the bird. I ended up being on the phone with Apple Care for over 3 hours. We didn't hang up until almost midnight. Needless to say I went to bed after that and figured I'd take the day off to hang with the kiddo. But, I'm back, and I've got three more Message in a Bottle Polishes from Anchor & Heart Lacquer to show you all today. She did a quick and short release of these a bit ago, then went on vacation so they could move. Now that they are settled, her shop is back open.
