It's a big day, y'all!! It's December!! Hard to imagine it is already here. Is it just me or did this year fly by? Doesn't seem like it was all that long ago that I started the 25 Days of Polish Giveaway. Well, that is starting back up again today! 

But first, I get to show you the gorgeous Victorian Christmas Collection from Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish. It's so nice to have this brand back on the blog. It has been far too long (since my anniversary giveaway I believe). The Victorian Christmas Collection is a set of seven polishes...mostly metallic shimmers with a crelly and a topper mixed in there. Each color and name is inspired by various Victorian Era Christmas things: songs, decorations, clothing, games, etc... I don't know much about this era, but the polishes are rich and elegant. Can you believe it's already been a year since Cameo Colours Lacquers and Polish 'M started the Polish for Pit Bulls charity duos? They've been able to give so much back to two charities that are very near and dear to their hearts because of you all. They've decided to do something a little different this year for the Holiday 2016 Duo. Instead of having a set amount premade, it will be available to pre-order for one week. I think it's a great idea! They also decided to do a nod to their original duo and use silver and green as their colors since it was gold and red last year. Ready to get a peek at these?!

Happy Turkey Day to all!! We don't really celebrate as we are very thankful year round, but we go out to dinner and a movie as a family every year. Hubs actually even has the day off so he gets to see Moana with us. Kiddo is happy. I don't know how happy he is though. haha He had no interest in the film. But before we head off to do that, I've got the gorgeous Winter Evolution Quartet from Cameo Colours Lacquers to show you all today. This collection is inspired by four stages of Winter. Not necessarily the main stages of winter, but still ones that leave a mark on our memories. The beauty of fog on a brisk morning, frost covering your car making it difficult to go anywhere until it thaws, the embers of a fire you used to warm yourself one night while watching the kids play in the snow, and the beautiful blue sky that lets you know Spring is just around the corner. Yes, most people love the concept of the holiday season, but the dreaded forced family time that just causes stress and drama is NOT anyone's idea of fun. I know some of you are a bit confused. The title says trio, but there is definitely more than three polishes in the main photo. LynBDesigns decided to combine her holiday collection, the Affinity for Elf Culture Trio, with her Black Friday limited edition polishes. Since they all go together, I wanted to keep them together for one post. If you can't tell from the name, she drew inspiration from the movie Elf for the holiday polishes. I don't care how many collections are inspired by this movie, I will love each and every one of them. This movie will always make me happy. I'll give you more details throughout the post. Well, I've kept quiet long enough. I try to hold off posting about the Anchor & Heart Lacquer Fan Favorites Duos until mid month so you all have a chance to get them as a slight mystery if swatches are a big late. She had plenty of swatches, but now it's my turn to show these beauties off. Taryn doesn't always have a theme for her duos, but this month she took inspiration from Mindy Kaling and her dedication to empowering other women. Well, Pretty & Polished has done it again! I've got the entire 12 piece Winter 2016 Collection to show you all today. Let me tell you, she didn't leave anything out. A little something for everyone...crellies, glitters, holo, toppers, jellies, and shimmers. Even better...they're all under $10!! Yeah, I know, good stuff! Everything Chelsea puts out is wonderful, but I love that this collection is a bit unconventional. Not the normal reds and greens you're used to seeing this time of year. She had a blast with these! I have a super fun post for you all this Monday. Allison, the wonderful spirit behind LE Polish, decided that it would be fun to do a collab collection with bloggers for her holiday collection. The bloggers involved are a mix of ones that blog for her and ones that she admires. This collab collection has a little twist though. There are twelve bloggers, each one sent Allison a picture for inspiration, and worked with her on their vision for the polish. We were all sent our polishes to approve and review, and have a date to release each one for you to see. There in we have the 12 Days of Polish Collection! On this 3rd Day of Polish, I get to show you my contribution...Candyland Cathedral.

I've always had a fascination with St. Basil's Cathedral in Russia. I was little and came across pictures of it in a National Geographic magazine, I believe. I thought it looked like the castle in the board game Candyland. It's silly thinking back on it. It doesn't look like the castle at all, but it is so incredibly whimsical. I'm not normally one to draw inspiration from pictures, but since it was how Allison wanted to handle things, I knew it would be the perfect thing for this. I found a stunning picture of St. Basil's Cathedral in the snow at Christmas time (you'll see the picture soon, I promise) and I got all warm and fuzzy inside. It was perfect! Ready to see it?!

It's been a crazy week, so I'm feeling that showing off the Batshit Crazy Collection from Darling Diva Polish seems quite appropriate. This collection was inspired by Orphan Black. It is a set of eight polishes in a variety of bases, colors, shimmers, and glitters. A little something for everyone. We're all a little batshit crazy here...right? I am so tired I can't even continue rambling. Let's get to it!

Keeping this short and sweet today. My daughter and I spent yesterday recovering from our trip to Philly on Monday. Considering the outcome last night, I'm really happy we were able to attend the rally. No matter what happened, it's time to move forward. No time to dwell on hate, fear, or anger. Time to try to think happy thoughts. I decided to show you a beautiful polish I just new I had to have the moment I saw it. Illyrian's Deadlights was from a recent For the Love of Polish Box. I was super lucky to find someone who was willing to split the box with me. I'm not going to keep you any longer. Let's get to it!

Keeping things short and sweet today. I decided to pull my daughter out of school tomorrow for some good ol' fashioned hands on learning. I'm taking her up to Philadelphia for a Hillary Clinton rally. She's old enough to have payed attention, asked questions, and form her own opinions. I'm very proud of the little lady she's becoming. I couldn't pass up an opportunity for her to experience this. 

So, today, I'm ending the mystery of Rica's Monthly Mystery polish. It used to be a monthly thing, but she decided to spread it out a bit. After a couple months the Monthly Mystery is back and there are only a few left! I figured it was time for an unveiling as a final push. I give you Farewell My Lady!

Chelsea from Pretty & Polished just doesn't know when to quit! On November 1st, when she released her 5th anniversary polish, sugar scrubs, and bath bombs she also started a pre-order for Throwback Collection. This collection is a set of four polishes that are reformulated versions of older polishes with the same names. The Throwback Collection will only be available to pre-order. If you don't have the original versions of these, you definitely won't want to miss out on the newer versions. And if you do have the originals, of course you need the new ones! Supermoon Lacquer by The Howling Boutique is back with her third collection. Her collections have been so amazing its hard to imagine she has only been selling polish for a few months. Mardi, the creative wizard behind Supermoon Lacquer by The Howling Boutique, decided to have some fun with this collection. She made a ton of polishes and couldn't narrow them down herself, so she created a way for the members of her FB fan group to narrow down to their favorites. After it was narrowed down, she let the members suggest names. Then she narrowed it down and did a poll to find out the names. She let her fans choose every aspect of this collection. What better name for it than The Chosen Collection? Keep reading to find out what names every one chose!

You guys, did you know that Pretty & Polished had bath and body products? They mostly sell at their pop up shops, but she decided to add them to the website's inventory for the holiday season. And why not? These sorts of items make amazing gifts and stocking stuffers!! I still can't believe the holiday season is officially upon us. It kind of hits you like a truck that first moment you sit down after walking around for hours taking candy from your neighbors. It's really happening! We've got two months until the end of the year. Where did time go?! I've got three of her five bath and body products to show you all today: bath bombs, cuticle butter, and sugar scrubs. She didn't want to overwhelm me, so she only sent these. The other items will be on their way soon, so prepare yourself for that post. In addition to all the delicious smelling products, I will have one polish to show you all today as well. Pretty & Polished is now, officially, celebrating 5 years of beautifying nails all over the world. To honor their anniversary, she created a limited edition beauty that you're going to fall head over heels for.
