Red Dog Designs - I Love Paris & Be Careful, It's My Heart

Today I have two beautiful top coats from Red Dog Designs' Ol' Blue Eyes Collection. If these two are any indication how beautiful this collection is, hold onto your wallet. There are 9 polishes, total, in the Ol' Blue Eyes Collection: Young At Heart, Hey! Jealous Lover, Let's Fall In Love, I Love Paris, Be Careful, It's My Heart, My Funny Valentine, My Stardust Melody, Come Rain or Come Shine and Besame Mucho. 

The two I have for you are I Love Paris and Be Careful, It's My Heart. I was very impressed with everything about these two polishes! How I have not tried Red Dog Designs before? I have no idea. Beautiful and very well thought out.

Wonder Beauty Products - Valentines Day Collection

Today, I have the beautiful Valentines Day Collection from Wonder Beauty Products. I was so excited when I unwrapped these. I have never tried Wonder Beauty Products, and when I was contacted by Jen to review this set I decided not to look them up. I wanted to be surprised and not have read any other reviews. 

The Valentines Day Collection is a fun, five polish collection that includes a beautiful linear holo and two glitter top coats. Don't let the bottles fool you, they may look like you've seen them before, but the originality comes out on the nail. Let's jump right in because there is so much to show you!

I'm very excited to finally show this polish to you today! I've had it since November, but I've been keeping her to myself. A shame, I know, but I just needed some quality time with her before showing her off to you all.

I'm sure you've already seen swatches of her elsewhere, but I'm putting my two cents in. She's too pretty not to show off...no matter how many people's nails she's been on. (I sound like I've been talking about my gf who used to be a hooker. BAHAHAHAHA) No hooker here, just the gorgeous Aqua Lily from the wonderful Ji at Rescue Beauty Lounge!

NOTD - Sinful Colors - Nova & Dazzle

I have some more beauties from SinfulColors for you today. Just a simple NOTD though. I was running through Wegmans over the holidays and walked past the pharmacy department and saw this random bowl on an end cap just filled with nail polishes. No display. Just a bowl. Of course I had to start digging! A bowl of nail polish is almost like the $5 movie bin at Walmart. You just HAVE to stop and go through it. And if you try to tell someone that you just walk past them, WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO KID?! ;o) We all do it. Well, it turns out the bowl was full of random SinfulColors Holiday Shimmer polishes. I grabbed a couple and finally decided to use them!

SinfulColors Haute Rebel Collection

Maggie had a dentist appointment a couple weeks ago. Her first time with the full blown cleaning. I was so nervous because she has been going to the dentist since before she was 1 and she was NOT a happy camper at any of the appointments. Like any good mother, I talked to her about what they were going to do for 2 weeks before the actual visits. But to be safe, I bribed her with a new bottle of polish and a lunch date to a restaurant of her choice. She did such a wonderful job! She lay there and let them do what they needed to do and didn't budge at all. I was one proud mama!

Comparison - Zoya and SinfulColors

I have another comparison post for you all today. At the beginning of January, I did a comparison post of a Julep polish and a Sally Hansen polish (link here), and someone asked if I would compare the Sally Hansen polish to Zoya - Feifei. When I grabbed my bottle of Feifei I noticed it wouldn't be anywhere near similar the Sally Hansen, but I did notice it looked very similar to one of the holiday polishes. I grabbed it and below are the results!


**Side note - Due to my stupidly editing pictures late at night, in the below pictures where it says "Winter Wonderland" it is only supposed to say "Winter Wonder". Completely a huge mistake on my part. Forgive me!**

January Julep Maven It Girl Box

365 Days of Color Limited Edition Polishes

It's one of my favorite indie maker's birthday today!! The wonderful Sunny, the beautiful mind behind the polishes, balms, oils and lotions of 365 Days of Color, is turning 24 today!! So in order to celebrate her birthday, I decided to show off three of her limited edition polishes (one of which I just got so it is STILL available). NOTD - China Glaze

The wonderful Katie at Lustrous Lacquer recently sent me a little bag of goodies for my birthday. (One of the bottles is one I wanted from the moment I saw it, and I'm trying to find the perfect way to show it off to you all.) But another bottle that she sent me was China Glaze - Make A Spectacle. I was giddy with excitement when I saw the sparkling bottle in the bag (next to my first ring of striping tape). I've been eyeing the whole collection and hadn't gotten any yet, but what a way to start the hunt! There are so many polishes I could have used with it, but I wanted to keep it in the China Glaze family. Unfortunately, I don't have many China Glaze polishes. I have one creme (For Audrey), two glitters (Make A Spectacle and Lubu Heels) and the rest are crackles that I grabbed at Sally Beauty for practically nothing on clearance. So my obvious choice is For Audrey!

Born Pretty Store Dried Flowers

Today's product from Born Pretty Store are dried flowers. One order contains 12 little tubs with 3-5 dried flowers in each one. They are so pretty and delicate! Only a couple flowers were harmed in the making of this manicure. I originally picked 2 other tubs, but I ended up breaking too many so I swapped and decided on 2 others that ended up working beautifully.

Born Pretty Store Round Glitter Sheets

The wonderful ladies at Born Pretty Store asked me to review a couple more products from them. I jumped on the chance. I had so much fun reviewing the first product they sent me, of course I want to do it again. It is getting me out there playing with other mediums and getting me more comfortable with doing nail art with 3D/2D items. Normally I just paint and do an accent nail, but I'm really having fun with these other objects.

Lovely Spring 2013 Zoya Collection

FINALLY!!!!

So glad to finally be able to show you all the Lovely Spring 2013 Zoya Collection today! These beauties arrived while we were on our holiday vacation. Such beautiful pastels! The second I laid my eyes on them it felt like I just found coveted Easter eggs. They really are lovely. They couldn't have chosen a better name for this collection.

Cameo Colours Lacquer Review

I'm super excited to show you three GORGEOUS polishes today from Cameo Colours Lacquer. They are so absolutely gorgeous, it actually pained me to take them off. I just didn't want to do it. Had I had been in a salon I probably would have been kicking and screaming at them not to do it. I'm not going to beat around the bush, I have WAY too many pictures to show you all. :o)

WOW!!! I still can't believe it's already 2013! I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years Eve! We let the munchkin stay up and ring in the new year with us at home watching movies and enjoying family time. It was a great evening! Already loving how 2013 is starting out! :o)

Today, I have a polish that completely surprised me. Maggie and I made a trip to ULTA a while back. I let her pick out 2 polishes for giveaways and then we got a free one so I let her pick one for us to keep and it turned out she picked 2 of the same polish.
