Girls Night!!

Oddly enough, having a nail blog has brought me closer to some of the neighborhood moms! After a rough week/day we will get together with a bottle of wine and paint nails, talk, vent and just relax. The other night we had one of those get togethers. I loved how I did my friend's nails and asked if I could take pics and post them. Unfortunately it was 11 pm by the time I got done and since I don't have an Ott light or light box, I couldn't get great pics without natural light. I've always promised that I'd show you the good, not so good and bad. It's not perfect, but I had fun with this.

It's WEDNESDAY!!! Halfway through the week! I got some exciting news last night, I won't be able to share it with you all until next week though. It's not polish related, but I'm over the moon about it. Anyway, onto what you came here for!

Earlier this month, I showed you all some new polishes from Bongo. Sweet Cheeks looked a little too familiar to me. Sweet Cheeks looks like everyone's favorite color shifting top coat, Charlatan. Yup, looks like Cult Nails has a copy cat!!

Yup, I have swatches of yet another China Glaze for you all today. Your Touch. I really can't tell you why this one caught my eye but it did. It is a part of their core line. I really think it is because I don't have anything this color. It's a sort of reddish brown shimmer. Really quite pretty once on the nail. Check out the pics!

Last week I went to Target to grab my favorite clean up brushes (e.l.f. small concealer brush), but the e.l.f. display was practically empty. The only other place that carries e.l.f. is Kmart. It seems that the only time I end up having to go to Kmart is when Target is out of my brushes. I have no idea why because they are cheaper at Kmart. Anyway, as I grabbed all the brushes they had, something caught my eye. A new display. It was completely full! It seems Bongo has started making beauty products. I only saw nail polish though. I snagged a couple to show you all!

I've been eying Femme Fatale Lacquer for a while, I finally gave in and bought 3 polishes to review for you all! I decided to be well rounded and grabbed a creme, a jelly and a top coat. I went in knowing which creme I wanted. I had seen pictures of MaKayla Rose that made me fall head over heels for it. I have to admit, it took me a bit to decide which other 2 to grab, but I finally decided on Berry Go 'Round and 80's Skull Party. Unfortunately Berries 'N Cream was sold out, so I kept it in the berry family and grabbed Berry Go 'Round. I still really want Berries 'N Cream though!
