Daily Hues Nail Lacquer Blurple Garden Collection Part 1 Swatch and Review

**Press Samples**

I know I've been a little MIA over the last week, but my husband was out of town for work and my camera wasn't working and giving me a hard time. I couldn't figure out what in the world was wrong and had to wait for him to come home and fix it. It was a pain in my ass for sure. I did work on something big for next week while I was waiting though. Trust me...you won't be disappointed! It's BIG!

However, I've finally finished swatching Daily Hues Nail Lacquer's giant 14 piece Blurple Garden Collection. Man-oh-man...did that take forever. Each one was prettier than the last. I didn't want to take any of them off. Jenn went crazy and didn't hold back. Well, the only thing she held back was anything that wasn't blue or purple. Get ready! These are beautiful!

The Blues

I figured it would be best to split these up. Today, you get to see all of the blues from the Blurple Garden Collection. There are 7 to be exact. Each one more lovely than the one before.

Baby Blue Eyes is described as "a linear holo base with baby blue crystal glitters throughout".
Shown is three coats of Baby Blue Eyes with top coat.
Baby Blue Eyes is inspired by and named for the baby blue eyes flower.
Baby Blue Eyes had a lovely application and was easy to layer. It is just as soft and delicate on the nail as the flower looks to be. The only thing that would make this better would be if the flower was covered in holo like the polish is.

Blake (H) is described as "a deep blue linear holo".
Shown is two coats of Blake (H) with top coat.
Blake (H) was the only blue not inspired by a flower. It wasn't really inspired by the beautiful Blake Lively either. With all the others named after flowers, I had to place the inspirations with them. She's as lovely as a flower. So I imagined this was the perfect faux-speration for this polish.
Blake (H) is one of those blues that is undeniably perfect. You can't find a single flaw in it. The polish is so well rounded. The application was smooth and went on like a dream. I can see why she chose this one from a previous collection to revamp for this collection.

Delphinium is described as "a micro silver holo glitter with metallic blue hex, ".
Shown is three coats of Delphinium with top coat.
Delphinium was inspired by and named for the delphinium flower.
Delphinium was one of my favorites from the blues. The blue in the polish might be small, but this beauty will definitely make sure you remember it. Don't pass this one up! You'll definitely regret it.

Hydrangea is described as "matte lavender and sky blue glitter with iridescent blue glitters".
Shown is three coats of Hydrangea with top coat.
Hydrangea was inspired by and named for the hydrangea flower.
Hydrangea is so soft and flirty. I love that it isn't packed with glitter. The color combination is perfect. Nice and fair with a slight pop. It does take several coats to get remotely near full coverage, so I'd recommend the sponging method if you're wanting that. I think she makes a perfect topper though.

Lily of the Nile is described as "a teal blue rich linear holo".
Shown is two coats of Lily of the Nile with top coat.
Lily of the Nile was inspired by and named for the lily of the nile flower.
Lily of the Nile may not look like the above photo, but the blue-green tone of this polish with the flashes of purple underneath...it really is a lovely interpretation. I'm really glad she found a way to put a teal into this collection. This polish is gorgeous and it needed that little "odd man out".

Lobelia is described as "a dusty deep blue linear holo".
Shown is three coats of Lobelia with top coat.
Lobelia was inspired by and named for the lobelia flower.
Lobelia is such an interesting polish. The color is unique and mysterious. With this color, the holo, and the gorgeous formula...you'd be a fool to pass it up. I want to see this as a base for some incredible nail art. If you have/buy this polish and you do some nail art, tag me on IG!

Morning Glory is described as "a duochrome/shifty base of blue and purple with teal holo hex glitters".
Shown is three coats of Morning Glory with top coat.
Morning Glory was inspired by and named for the morning glory flower.
Morning Glory was the surprising favorite from the blues for me. To be honest, I wasn't sold on this one in the bottle. Once I got it on the nail, I was blown away...both alone and as a topper. It takes a few coats to get it built up, but it's worth it.
