Yesterday, I had a baby shower to go to. It was a lot of fun! I hadn't seen my friend in 3 years. Actually, the last time she saw me was when I was pregnant with Maggie. And the funny thing is, she's due just a few days before Maggie's birthday. There's always that off chance her baby will be born on Maggie's birthday. Would be funny...
Anyway, for her baby shower I wanted to do something simple, but fun. I grabbed 10 of my blue glitter polishes and decided to do an ombre blue glitter mani. Obviously, I opted for blue because she's having a boy. I swiped each polish on a piece of paper so I could figure out what order to put them in. I thought I got it right, but after all was said and done, I had a couple that were a little off. It was ok though because it wasn't all that bad.
This is a little picture heavy so I'll get right to it!

If you saw my previous post, you might have seen 2 gorgeous beauties from Deborah Lippmann. My friend Nikki sent them. You see, she's been holding a box of books hostage from me for I'm guessing 4 years now. lol She felt bad and decided she needed to surprise me with these to make her feel better about not sending them to me yet. So, who am I to tell her she's wrong? ;o) I love you, Nikki! You'll never understand how excited I was about receiving these!! Thank you, so very much! <3
Back to my nails since that is what brought you here. How do you pick between these two?!

So, if you've seen my vacation haul post, you might have seen a couple pictures of some nail polish. :o) Among those, in the OPI pictures, were some of the OPI Texas polishes. I grabbed the lil shooters, and a couple full sized polishes (that I found on sale). Then yesterday I got my first Deborah Lippmann (in all of it's glittery glory). Jelly sandwich popped into my head! I had never done one before and was really nervous about it so I opted to only do it on my accent nail (thank goodness that was my decision!). I did a skittle mani so I could see the colors in their true form. The colors were pretty but this whole mani was a complete mess! I told you guys I was going to share the good and the bad, so please don't make fun of me. lol :o)
