365 Days of Color Easter Limited Editions

12:57 PM

When Sunny over at 365 Days of Color was working on her limited edition polishes for her Easter mystery bags, she sent me a little preview with the names. One of the names didn't roll off my tongue and I suggested something else. Not thinking she'd actually use it, but she did!! Because of my suggestion she sent me minis of the two LE polishes. I am going to show them off to you with one week left to snag an Easter mystery bag.

365 Days of Color - Jellybean There Done That

Jellybean There Done That is a clear base filled with micro matte white glitter, small matte dark purple hex glitter, medium matte carnation pink hex glitter and small iridescent mint hex and square glitters.

Three to four coats would be perfect if you wanted to wear Jellybean There Done That on it's own and one to two coats is fantastic to go over undies.

This is three coats of Jellybean There Done That with Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base and top coats.

I love everything about this polish! The color combination, that it's mostly matte glitter, the ease with which it applies. To me, 365 Days of Color can't do any wrong, and this is a wonderful top coat!

LOVE the shimmer from the light hitting the iridescent glitter!

Now to layer it over some undies!

Left to right: SinfulColors - Orange Cream, Julep - Donna, L.A. Colors - Tropical Breeze, Essie - Lights and Zoya - Julie.

As seen above from pinky to thumb.

This is two coats of Jellybean There Done That over two coats of SinfulColors - Orange Cream. Orange Cream is just that, a soft orange "dreamsicle" cream. This was my favorite pairing of the five! Immediately put me in the mood for Easter.

This is two coats of Jellybean There Done That over two coats of Julep - Donna. Donna is a deep jewel toned teal creme. I wanted to put Jellybean There Done That over an unconventional Easter color. It really softened Donna up and made her playful. I only wish I would have done one more coat to try to get some pink glitter on the nail too.

This is two coats of Jellybean There Done That over two coats of L.A. Colors - Tropical Breeze. Tropical Breeze is a playful purple creme. I chose this purple because it is slightly darker than the glitter in Jellybean There Done That and it would allow them to stand out. Beautiful but obvious pairing.

This is two coats of Jellybean There Done That over two coats of Essie - Lights. Lights is a bright hot pink creme. A little too bright to be paired with Jellybean There Done That. It drowns out what little pink glitter ended up on the nail.

This is two coats of Jellybean There Done That over two coats of Zoya - JulieJulie is a soft purple metallic shimmer. This pairing was gorgeous! The shimmer in Julie added the perfect amount of pop to Jellybean There Done That. They were made for each other.

365 Days of Color - Eggcentric Bunny

Eggcentric Bunny is a squishy pink tinted soft white jelly base filled with a beautiful shimmer and several shapes, sizes and colors of glitter.

Three coats of Eggcentric Bunny is absolute perfection on it's own.

This is three coats of Eggcentric Bunny with Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base and top coats.

Stunning application and formula on this one! 365 Days of Color just keeps getting better and better with each polish she makes.

Look at the glitter in the layers. It's breathtaking.

LOVE that shimmer you don't see so well in the bottle.

And now to see what it does over some undies...

Left to right: Zoya - SweetEssie - Marshmallow, LynBDesigns - Pinkmalion, SinfulColors - Mauve and Rimmel London - Posh Pink.

As seen above from pinky to thumb.

This is two coats of Eggcentric Bunny over two coats of Zoya - SweetSweet is the most perfect bubblegum pink creme I've ever encountered. This was a no brainer pairing. It's beautiful! The pink even helps enhance the shimmer in Eggcentric Bunny.

This is two coats of Eggcentric Bunny over three coats of Essie - Marshmallow. Marshmallow is a squishy white jelly. The best part about pairing these two is you get the same effect without having to use up your beautiful bottle of Eggcentric Bunny!

This is two coats of Eggcentric Bunny over two coats of LynBDesigns - Pinkmalion. Pinkmalion is a soft pink creme. This turned out to be an even better pairing than Sweet did. The softness of Pinkmalion really let Eggcentric Bunny shine!

This is two coats of Eggcentric Bunny over two coats of SinfulColors - Mauve. Mauve is just that...a soft mauve creme. It really transformed Eggcentric Bunny. Enjoyed this pairing more than I expected to. Soft, pale dusty purple with a pink shimmer and scattered with multi colored and shaped glitter. It's beautiful.

This is two coats of Eggcentric Bunny over two coats of Rimmel London - Posh Pink. Posh Pink is a bright pink creme that is more toned down than Lights is. Eggcentric Bunny shines best over a softer polish. Posh Pink let the glitters have fun, but not the base. The base, the shimmer just got lost in the shuffle. Not my favorite pairing.

These two are just so much fun! You can definitely make them extremely versatile with the right undies. Please don't pass up your chance to own these! You'll regret it!!

All of her information is listed below. Right now the Easter mystery bags available for $20, and they will be available until Sunday Sunday March 31st. The mystery bags are the only way to get these LE polishes, so DON'T miss out on them! If you want to get some of her other polishes you can buy mini bottles of polish for $4.50 per bottle and full sized bottles are $8 per bottle. She also makes the most amazing hand cream ($4 for 2oz and $8 for 4oz), cuticle balm ($3 for .5oz and $5 for a set of 3 samplers) and cuticle oils ($4 for 10ml and $6 for a set of 3 5ml samplers). If you need help picking scents (she has well over 100 different scents) some of my favorites are: Zombie Punch, Spellbinding (smells like Victoria's Secret's Love Spell), Lemon Verbena and Coconut Paradise. She even sells gift sets! Several different ones. It's good for if you want to try a little bit of everything or if you need a gift for someone (range from $9 to $14).

Some recently announced news from 365 Days of Color. 1) Starting next month she will be doing a "12 Months of Color" promotion. At the beginning of the month a polish will be introduced to the shop and will be available until the end of the month, when it will be retired. 2) From April to around August the 365 Days of Color store will only be open Friday through Sunday on the first and third weekends of every month. At least it's not a permanent change. :o)
