Sorry, I've still been sporadic with posts lately. My daughter was sick for almost 2 weeks, then the hubby got sick and now I've been infected. Vicious circle!

Anyway, this past Saturday was my birthday. The big 3-2. Eessh! Luckily I don't feel 32, other than being sick at the moment. I had to cheer myself up with a bday mani.

For a brief moment, the whole family appeared to feel better so we went out and ran some errands and had a little fun. Hubby wanted to run to Best Buy and, luckily, next door there is an Ulta. On a whim, I told him I wanted to run in to see if they had an item in stock when we were done at BB. I looked everywhere and didn't see it, so we started to leave. Then, on one of those towers of shelves in the middle of the aisles, it was there. The OPI Mariah Pure 18K white gold and silver top coat. I had just received some bday money in a card and knew that's what I needed to get for myself. A little pampering is great on your bday. I also picked up some of my favorite mascara (CoverGirl's LashBlast Volume mascara). I had my, 20% off the entire order, coupon ready and my money. I handed the cashier all my goodies and I was in for the best bday surprise! Pure only rang up at $17.99!!!! WHAT?! Yeah, I was very happy! So, I ended up getting both items for only $22!

I knew I had to use it for my bday mani later that night. Here is what I decided to pair it with. On my pinky and thumb, I did two coats of OPI DS Opulence, a beautiful rosey pink holo. On my ring and middle fingers, I used three coats of the beautiful OPI Glacier Bay Blues (black label) underneath one coat of Mariah Pure 18K white gold and silver top coat. Lastly on my pointer finger, I used 4 coats of OPI Paris Couture For Sure (black label) silver holo top coat. I topped all fingers with A Girl Obsessed's Magpie Shine top coat. It's glossy, quick drying and perfection in a bottle. Only $7. Never had shrinkage or any issues with it! By far my favorite top coat!
This mani makes me so very happy! It's beautiful and fun and classy all at the same time. Been on my nails almost a week now and I just have minimal tip wear.

Hopefully I'll feel better soon. I have 2 Zoya collections swatched I just need to edit the photos. Things will be back to normal soon! I promise!
