Literary Lacquers Unspeakably Desirable Swatch and Review

11:14 AM

Today at noon MST Literary Lacquers will be doing a release of a couple special limited edition polishes and a re-release of some pretty incredible past shades. I have the birthday LE beauty to show you right now, as well as a couple that are re-releasing that I already own. Everything LitLaq does is incredible. This LE polish is perfection. You want to put it on your wish list immediately. Trust me! Keep reading to get a peek, and to find out more about what will be released.

Unspeakably Desirable
Unspeakably Desirable is described as "a bright coral mega glitter holo with copper, gold, and rose micro glitter".
Shown is two coats of Unspeakably Desirable with top coat.
Unspeakably Desirable was almost a one coater. With my new nubs, it probably was a one coater, but I did the second coat for the extra sparkle though. Perfect application, wide brush, incredible formula. The color on this is amazing! It's a beautiful orange-y coral with a hint of pink to it. You need it!

In addition to the birthday LE, she's also releasing her Book Club LE named A Thousand Different Strokes of Light. A Thousand Different Strokes of Light is described as "a light taupe subtle creamy holo with a blue shimmer and flash". It will be available for $12. I have completely fallen in love with this one after checking out swatches from other bloggers. You're going to want to add it to your wish list as well.

As for the Polishes that will be re-releasing, here is the list:

84, Charing Cross Road
Cyan-tifically Proven
Shadow Between Us
Je Reviens
Rebecca, Always Rebecca
Tia Wanna
Curious Yellow
English Voodoo

I had previously received two of these and am adding my swatches from them again. All holo and multichrome polishes will be $12, and all glitters, shimmers, and cremes will be $10.

84, Charing Cross Road
84, Charing Cross Road is described as "a sepia taupe subtle holo loaded with silver glass fleck".
Shown is three coats of 84, Charing Cross Road with top coat.
84, Charing Cross Road is such a classic shade! Browns are such underrated polishes in my opinion. What she did with this one pushes it above and beyond. Anyone would be more than happy to wear it.

Je Reviens
Je Reviens is described as "a deep teal linear holo with holo sparkle".
Shown is three coats of Je Reviens with top coat.
Je Reviens is majestic. That's about the only word I can use to describe it. The color is rich and has so much depth. It will truly leave one speechless.

Everything that Literary Lacquers does is absolute perfection. You can't go wrong with any of them. I know I wasn't able to show you everything, but do any of these jump out at you? What is on your wish list for the release? Do you have a favorite polish from LitLaq? I'm curious, since she creates polishes inspired by books, poems, and quotes, is there anything specific you'd like to see inspire a polish?
