Road to PolishCon Different Dimension Heaven From Hell Swatch and Review

Happy Monday, everyone! It's a wonderful day for me. Not only do I get to show you all an absolutely gorgeous polish, but my kiddo is home from school. It may throw off my day, but I love having her with me. Yesterday, she built a stage so we can put on puppet shows later on. Can't wait to find out what story we will be doing. But first, back to the polish.
If you haven't heard, there is an event called PolishCon. The next PolishCon will be held in NYC in April. As a little introduction to the different vendors that will be at the event, every week two vendors will be featured with a limited edition polish that will only be available during their week. They are now up to week 6, and the two vendors featured this week are Great Lakes Lacquers and Different Dimension. Both of these makers drew inspiration from the lyrics to Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here". The polish I have to show you today is Heaven from Hell from Different Dimension. It will only be available until January 21st, so keep reading to see my review and swatches. Don't wait too long to make up your mind!!

I've got another Valentine's Day collection to show you all today. This one is more of a combination early Spring/Valentine's Day collection though. Tomorrow, Different Dimension will be releasing her My Forever Fairytale Collection. It is a set of six polishes, some with micro flakes and some with micro glitters, in soft pastels with a dusting of holo. This collection is so ethereal and whimsical, you'll have a hard time passing this one up. I love that it is soft and romantic, but strong and independent at the same time. Perfect for those who celebrate Valentine's Day and those who celebrate Galentine's Day. Ready to get a look at these? Get your calendar ready, because you'll be adding a reminder for this release by the time you reach the end of the post.

Today is another big day on the blog! The lovely Missi from Different Dimension was beyond excited to be a part of my 25 Days of Polish Giveaway. She said she would giveaway a set of her Homespun Holidays Collection to one lucky winner. She even sent me a set to swatch and show off exactly what you would be winning! This collection is a set of seven polishes that are filled with holo and sparkle. They will bring out the festive spirit in anyone!

I am beyond excited about today's post!! Did you know that on November 1st it will have been 20 years since Romeo + Juliet was released in theaters? Yeah, between that and all the awesome music albums that turned 20 this year, I officially feel old. This move was my everything. When I wasn't watching the movie, I was listening to both of the soundtracks. When I realized the anniversary of it's release was coming up, I tried to rally some makers together to create a celebratory box. This box had a lot of downs before the ups began. Once the ups began, it was all uphill. Different Dimension and Model City Polish each created one polish and added a little something extra to bring to you all the Star Crossed Lovers Box. This box is a one time thing, so don't think you'll see more of them. Ready to get a peek into what they created for you all?
