I am beyond excited about today's post!! Did you know that on November 1st it will have been 20 years since Romeo + Juliet was released in theaters? Yeah, between that and all the awesome music albums that turned 20 this year, I officially feel old. This move was my everything. When I wasn't watching the movie, I was listening to both of the soundtracks. When I realized the anniversary of it's release was coming up, I tried to rally some makers together to create a celebratory box. This box had a lot of downs before the ups began. Once the ups began, it was all uphill. Different Dimension and Model City Polish each created one polish and added a little something extra to bring to you all the Star Crossed Lovers Box. This box is a one time thing, so don't think you'll see more of them. Ready to get a peek into what they created for you all?

Did My Heart Love Till Now? is a beautiful blue dream! You know how, after the first time you watched the movie, you'd dream about gazing at someone through a fish tank? If you say no, you're lying. Despite there not being fish in this polish, which someone needs to do some nail art of, this is how I always imagined the water looking in my day dreams. Shut up!! I swear I'm not crazy. This polish is flawless. The application is smooth and the formula is impeccable! When she first showed it to me, I thought it was a beautiful blue holo. Simple and to the point. But that is NOT what it is. There are super holo micro glitters in there that add some depth and dimension. Do you get the Winter blues? This polish is a sure cure-all! You won't need more than two coats to reach full opacity.

My Only Love Sprung From My Only Hate is a thing of absolute beauty. We all wanted to be Juliet back then...again...I KNOW I am not the only one. Leaning over the balcony as angelic as can be, when our one true love comes and steals our heart away in an instant. This polish is sparkly and simple and pure, but with the complexities of the multi chrome flakes representing her inner conflict. I used three thin coats to reach full opacity, but if you're one who does normal to thicker coats, you'd easily be able to get away with two coats.
In addition to these two beautiful polishes, the ladies each added one extra item each for you all!
Extras
Different Dimension's extra item is a cuticle oil pen.
She named the scent I Defy You Stars. It is a combination of musk notes with lily, rose, and vanilla.
Ingredients list is: Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Fragrance, and Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil
I'm not normally one who can handle anything vanilla scented, so I used this as soon as it arrived. I couldn't wait to see how all the scents worked together. I can't even begin tell you how delicious this smells. I swear this is how I imagine the church in the movie would smell. She did a phenomenal job blending these scents. The oil soaks in pretty quickly too. Always a plus!
Model City Polish's extra item is a foam buffer.
One side is a fine coarse grain and the other side is a medium coarse grain. A good basic item to have. I keep these in a baggie in my purse for when I need something on the go.
