Shimmer Polish Alice

11:32 AM

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**

It's day 2 of Shimmer Polish Week here at NWP and I've got Alice to show you all today.

Shimmer Polish - Alice

Alice is a clear base filled with silver and silver holo glitter in multiple sizes and shapes.

This is three coats of Alice with OPI Natural Nail Base Coat and Glisten & Glow HK girl top coat.

Alice is the perfect silver holo glitter! It should be a staple in everyone's stash!!

Alice had a pretty smooth application for a glitter. It didn't get thick like Jennifer did yesterday. It kept it's beautiful formula the whole time. There was still some VNL after 3 coats, but I did so love this on it's own. This little bit of glitter packs a crazy punch of sparkle! So far, my favorite thing has been that the glitter that Shimmer Polish uses doesn't get extremely thirsty and there is a wonderful dry time on it. Also, that her glitters really hold their own and don't crave an undie.

That being said, I still had to try it over some different colors...

This is one coat of Alice over two coats of Julep - Abbie. Abbie is a sunshine yellow creme. This was a no brainer pairing for me. I love a simple sparkle with a simple color. This pairing just made me happy. It was something that just brightened your mood! I highly suggest this pairing!!

This is one coat of Alice over two coats of China Glaze - Starboard. Starboard is a green creme that has slight blue notes. I wanted a good green that wouldn't over power and take Alice over. Starboard let Alice shine beautifully!

This is one coat of Alice over two coats of OPI - OPI on Collins Ave. OPI on Collins Ave is a bright coral creme. I didn't like this pairing. Alice seemed so dull. It's not how it was meant to look at all.

This is one coat of Alice over two coats of Cult Nails - Flushed. Flushed is a gorgeous blue toned purple with a glowing purple/pink shimmer that sometimes looks gold. I wanted a purple that had some depth to it. Once I got Alice on top, she spread her arms and took over. It's packed with so much sparkle that it didn't give Flushed a chance to help her out. I really did love Alice and a purple together though.

This is one coat of Alice over two coats of SinfulColors - Endless Blue. Endless Blue is a true blue creme. This picture doesn't do the pairing justice. The way the holo glistens against the blue is enough to take your breath away.

Now that you've seen all 5 pairings, which do you think was my favorite?

This is one coat of Alice over two coats of Abbie with OPI Natural Nail Base Coat and Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat.

I want to call this mani "The Adventures of Alice and Abbie". They are subtle but very loud all at the same time.

I don't think yellows are all that great on my skin tone, but layered like this, I was extremely happy! I could definitely rock this mani again and again!

I loved Jennifer, but Alice is extremely versatile! I love a good versatile top coat. you can make it look different with every undie to pop it over. I'm loving Shimmer Polish more and more with every one I pust on my nails. You can grab Alice or any of their multitude of polishes at their Etsy shop for $12 per bottle. Totally worth the money! Your nails will thank you! There is not a lot of scrubbing or scraping needed to get these off. Use a peeling base coat or use the foil method and you will have no problems!

Also, don't forget to use the code NAKED at check out to get 10% off your entire order. It's good until the end of June 2013.
