Happy Monday, everyone! I can't believe it's August already! Where has this year gone?! My daughter will be 4 next month. I want to cry! Ok, ok, I won't cry! It just gets harder every year around her bday. Anyway, I have some nail decals from Born Pretty Store to show you all today.

Elegant Lace Style Sticker Nail Art (#1926)

There are 8 strips in the packet. 2 strips of each type of lace. There are 2 strips of a sort of honeycomb lace, simple and classic. 2 strips of scalloped lace and 2 strips of scalloped lace with accents. Then there are 2 strips that is a combo of all three strips.

I started with two coats of Color Club Cosmic Fate, a beautiful peach linear holo. I then decided to use 3 of the 4 types of lace strips. I used all the deconstructed ones, because the one of all of them together was too big for my petite nails

When Cosmic Fate dried, I started by adding the scalloped lace with accents to my pinky and middle fingers. Then the honeycomb lace to my ring finger and lastly, the scalloped lace to my pointer finger.

The strips were a little difficult to get off the plastic square they came on. I used my nail art tweezers to help get them off. Once the first one was off, I noticed the strips were fragile. I got the first one placed on my pinky, and clipped it to fit, then went to place it on my middle finger and the end crumbled right after I pressed the rest of it onto the nail. After that, I was extra gentle with the other two strips. Even though the strips were sticky, they didn't stay down on the nail so I opted to top with a top coat. That really didn't help much.

The honeycomb lace was the easiest to work with and stayed the best out of the three I used, but I don't see that keeping me away from these though. I really enjoyed the final look of these. Easy way to jazz up a mani in no time! You just need to know how to handle them. Probably even more delicate than the dried flowers I used a while back.

These lace style stickers are only $5.23 over at Born Pretty Store. Definitely worth having around for those days you need a change, but don't want to actually change your mani. Don't forget about their free shipping world wide or my code for 10% off your entire order: EQL91.
