**Press Samples**

I've got a new to me brand to show you all today! O-My Jewels sent me two polishes from her core line to review. I love that she sent me basics. That means the polishes will be readily available to purchase and will more than likely be versatile. I didn't know much about O-My Jewels before she sent the product, so I went in with an open mind. You'll hear my final verdict at the end of this post, but first...let's take a look!
**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Mermaid Tales is described as "an aqua, blue-green shimmery dream with purple flecks".
Shown is two coats of Mermaid Tales with top coat.
Mermaid Tales is so beautiful, I couldn't capture it all in photos. The base is a beautiful aqua that seems to have specks of turquoise when it shimmers. I thought it would be sheer, but it was fully opaque after two coats. The formula was smooth and easy to work with. The flecks of purple were the perfect addition to the base They may not pop in the photos, but they add the perfect amount of dimension to the polish.
$7.25

Onyx is described as "a black cream polish that is nearly a one coater".
Shown is two coats of Onyx with top coat.
Onyx is a lovely, rich, black cream. Smooth application, and almost a one coater. I did the one coat and was going to leave it at that, but just slight patchiness required the second coat. Incredibly pigmented! The website says it stamps well, and I believe it. I haven't tried stamping with it yet, but it is set aside to use in the near future. Beautifully smooth formula and easy to use. Minimal clean up was needed.

Nail Art
Of course I had to try a little nail art. I painted one nail with Onyx, while it was still wet, I made a few dots with Mermaid Tales to create a blob manicure. This was my first attempt at a blob manicure. I wasn't fully happy with the shapes I got, however, I love that the purple flecks were more visible here.

My first impression of O-My Jewels was that I should have been using this brand long ago. The formulas are buttery smooth and so easy to use. The brushes are great, and the price is on point! I don't have a single bad thing to say about the brand. They deserve to be talked about more than I've seen. Both of these polishes, as well as many others, are available now at http://omyjewels.com. The price range is $7.25 - $8. She even has base and top coats for $5, or get them as a set for only $9. Make sure you are following O-My Jewels on all of their social media platforms (links below) to stay updated on news, releases, restocks, and sales.

Have you tried anything from O-My Jewels? I'll definitely be trying more! What do you all think of these?
