It's a new year, so it's time for a new box! Three beloved indie brands got together and created the Seasonal Indie Box. There will be one box for every season...so why not start off with winter? Each box will have four full sized polishes from four different brands. There are three constant brands with each box: Anchor & Heart Lacquer, Colores de Carol, and Turtle Tootsie Polishes, and then one guest brand. The guest brand for the Winter 2017 Seasonal Indie Box is Supernatural Lacquer. These four ladies came together and created a beautiful, frosty looking box that you'll have a hard time saying "no" to. Keep reading to see swatches and find out more!

Fallen Ice Pellets

Turtle Tootsie Polishes' contribution is Fallen Ice Pellets.

Fallen Ice Pellets is described as "a very light blue, almost silver holo, with multiple blue colored flakies".

Fallen Ice Pellets is stunning!! The only thing I couldn't capture in the photos were the iridescent flakies. It pained me because they were incredibly beautiful! It has a smooth formula and a buttery application. Fully opaque after only two coats. Not a damn thing to complain about...other than not capturing the flakies in my photos.

Winter Blues

Anchor & Heart Lacquer's contribution is Winter Blues.

Winter Blues is described as "a medium, almost neon, blue with blue shimmer, blue and white glass flecks, and a scattering of navy blue holo glitter".

Winter Blues is perfection in a bottle. The color is bright and in your face. This is a great year round beauty for sure! It had a smooth application and great formula. It was a little more sheer than I was expecting. I made sure I did three coats to ensure I had no VNL. Someone needs to do some fun nail art over this one! To be honest, the first thing I thought of was Ice King from Adventure Time. haha No clue why!

Frosty Air

Colores de Carol's contribution is Frosty Air.

Frosty Air is described as "a white crelly with gold shimmer, gold and light blue glitter, and light blue mini stars".

Frosty Air was exciting for me. I received some polishes from this brand in a giveaway I won, but I haven't had a chance to try them yet. Technically, this was my first polish from this brand. She must have known I was going to be swatching this box and that I adored white crelly polishes, because I was immediately drawn to this one. It had such a great application, and the brush and formula was easy to use and work with. I got the right amount of glitter on each nail. Nothing was overwhelming.

Frostmaiden

Supernatural Lacquer's contribution is Frostmaiden.

Frostmaiden is described as "frosty lavender micro flakes with an icy blue shimmer, and a touch of holo".

Frostmaiden is absolutely magical! It's a beautiful polish for a winter inspired box. It is a little sheer because all the beauty comes from the flakes. It will be fully opaque in just three thin coats. There is so much beauty in this one little bottle. She makes amazing polishes and this one did not disappoint!

The Winter 2017 Seasonal Indie Box will be available to purchase on Sunday, January 8th at 6 pm EST at www.turtletootsiepolishes.com. The box will be $35 plus shipping, and it will be available to ship internationally. They did an absolutely beautiful job with the inaugural Seasonal Indie Box.
