**Press Samples**

Sorry to be posting so sporadically lately. I've been working on deep cleaning the house and spending a lot of time with my family. I have done a ton of swatching, just need to finish editing and get the posts typed up. I miss you all more than you realize!

Today, I've got the beautiful BFF Duo from Turtle Tootsie Polishes and Smokey Mountain Lacquer to show you all. This duo will be launching at The Indie Shop in Atlanta on March 11th. I couldn't wait to show it off though. You all are in for a treat! Keep reading to find out more about these and to see swatches!

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Confidant
Smokey Mountain Lacquer's contribution is Confidant.
Confidant is described as "a cotton candy pink with blue flash and subtle holo shimmer".
Shown is two coats of Confidant with top coat.
Confidant is so much brighter than a cotton candy pink in my opinion. Probably more bubble gum pink than anything. The application of this one was incredible!! She said she has been reformulating her polishes (they weren't bad before in my opinion) and it shows! It practically applied itself. You're going to be so impressed! The holo is very subtle. I couldn't take pics of this one in direct light as it didn't pop like I wanted due to the brightness of the color. No way you will be disappointed in this polish.

Pal
Turtle Tootsie Polishes contribution is Pal.
Pal is described as "a light blue-minty cream polish with hot pink flakies and pink shift".
Shown is three coats of Pal with top coat.
Pal is a creamy, delicate beauty. It did apply slightly streaky/patchy, but, honestly, I would have done three coats no matter what. I love iridescent shimmers with a bit of layers. It isn't thick or anything so it wasn't a bother at all. The shimmer is beautiful and strong...even though it wasn't being captured in the photos. I attempted to take pics of this one in direct light as well and it didn't capture it as I wanted it to. Honestly, I kinda like when there is a polish you need to buy to really see its beauty. Makes it a little more special.

The BFF Duo will only be available to purchase at The Indie Shop in Atlanta on March 11th. It will be $18 for the pair. If anything is left over, they will be sold in both of the brands' fan groups on Facebook. They will only be sold as the duo, not individually. If you are attending The Indie Shop, make sure you don't miss out on this duo! Both of these are absolutely beautiful and must haves! Make sure you are following both Smokey Mountain Lacquer and Turtle Tootsie Polishes on their social media platforms (links below) to stay updated on news, releases, and sales.
