It's already time for another anniversary set of polishes to help Elvenspun celebrate the joyous occasion!! Turtle Tootsie Polishes is at it again with a gorgeous duo! This set brought me so much joy! They are so cheerful and perfect for this celebratory event. They can easily be used alone or together. The more versatile, the better...right?! The owner of Elvenspun created these herself. If you're not familiar with Elvenspun, it is a shop with handmade clay sculptures, jewelry, and glassware. She even has a couple paintings available! I've got more PolishCon exclusives to show you all today! This time, it's a trio from Turtle Tootsie Polishes! She had been telling me about these for some time, and I was still blown away by these when they arrived. Beautiful colors that would be great year round. On their own, or even in some nail art. I have a feeling a couple of them might even be good for stamping. Keep reading to find out more!

Hello, all!! Hope your 2017 is off to a great start! This coming Friday, January 6th, is a big day for Chrissy from Turtle Tootsie Polishes. 5 years ago on that date she was diagnosed with stage 2b breast cancer. Since then, she has battled through chemo and radiation, and is still fighting with neuropathy that was caused by the treatments. To celebrate her surviving the past five years she created a Breast Cancer Anniversary Trio. This trio is beautiful even though it represents a rough period of time. Keep reading to see swatches and find out more.

I have a special post for you all today! Chrissy, the lady behind Turtle Tootsie Polish, was approached by Elvenspun to create a trio for the third anniversary of her shop. Elvenspun has a mixture of things in her shop...from jewelry to sculptures to glassware to paintings and even some covered journals. There are some darling things there, you should definitely poke around. But now, what you came here for...swatches of the lovely Elvenspun Trio!

My husband and I were in the process of moving our daughter's room and renovating it while she was away visiting grandma for a couple weeks. Then, it took a bit for me to get my polish room situated where it was usable. It's still a mess, but I am able to get some work done at least. I'm late to the party with this one, since tomorrow is the last day to purchase this, but you all are going to want to pay attention to this one.
This month's Nouveau Geek Box theme is 80's Video Games. I mean, this is one of the ultimate nostalgic themes I'm most excited about. I am a bit upset that no one created a polish inspired by my favorite old school video game, Galaga!! However, Bohemian Polish, Lollipop Posse Lacquer, Turtle Tootsie Polish, Black Label Nails, Sassy Pants Polish, and First Sunday Handmade all did a beautiful job bringing this theme to life in our favorite little bottles.

I have a special post for you all today! Turtle Tootsie Polish is teaming up with Crystal's Charity Lacquers to bring you three beauties to raise money for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The color of the parkinson's awareness ribbon is grey, so, you will see three different shades of grey (light, dark, and silver) from Turtle Tootsie Polish for this. The greys are a breath of fresh air among all the neons and bright spring-y polishes. I quite think you will like these. Keep reading to see swatches, and find out more about the charity of choice.

Next up for the Nouveau Geek Box is a Star Trek theme. I was looking forward to this one because I'm not too familiar with Star Trek myself. I grew up in a Star Wars house. I'm not opposed to it, I just haven't gotten around to watching the series. (I've seen one of the new movies, but I know that doesn't quite count.) Well, even though I am not familiar with Star Trek, I was looking forward to seeing what this month's makers had in store for us. Instead of 4 to 5 polishes an some extras, we get 5 full sized bottles and one mini bottle (but it is on the larger side of minis). The makers chosen for the Star Trek themed Nouveau Geek Box are Bohemian Polish, Turtle Tootsie Polish, Cinema Swatch Lacquer, Lollipop Posse Lacquer, and Black Lace Cosmetics. The box will be available later today, so let's dive in!

I have a fun sort of post to show you all in my first May post. Side note - how in the hell is it already May?! This year is getting out of hand. I don't know if I can handle how fast this year is flying by. Each year seems to go by faster and faster. I don't know why or how it is possible. Anyone else feel this way? Anyway...back to the polish. Chrissy, the mixologist behind Turtle Tootsie Polishes was contacted by Scarlett Rayne, an up-and-coming author, to create a trio of polishes inspired by her book, Nocturne of Secrecy. Her book releases on Amazon on May 3rd (yes, tomorrow), but I have swatches of the Nocturne of Secrecy Trio to show you all today. Let's get to it!

Burnt out from Easter and Spring Break? Mother's Day is right around the corner! Whether you're a mom or just want an excuse to buy some new goodies, this is a box you're going to want to money aside for. LE Polish, Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer, Sassy Pants Polish, Supernatural Lacquer, and Turtle Tootsie Polish did an absolutely brilliant job with this box. Each polish speaks to you in different ways...nude for how you feel when your kids aren't around (even if they drive you crazy when they are around), green for the vegetables we have difficulty getting our kids to eat, pink for that rare bubble bath we need more often than we actually get it, burgundy for that glass of wine we keep checking our clocks for to see if it's bedtime yet (no one will judge you if you have a glass of wine before the kids are in bed), and purple for that piece of pie/candy we try to convince ourselves is a sufficient breakfast/lunch/dinner. They also included extras to help in pampering. Keep reading to see pics and find out more!
