Sorry there hasn't been a Maggie's Corner in a while. The munchkin decided to act up, and surprisingly enough, she's not even 3 and the only punishment that seemed to work was taking away her nail polish. Who knew that'd end up having to be a punishment in this house. (I hope my husband doesn't get any ideas! lol) But now, she has her polish back and all is well. :o)

I know what you're thinking... "How could this angel ever get in trouble?"

Maggie's Corner #8 - 20% Cooler Than You!

As many of my readers know, I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl. So, of course, we love My Little Pony and are fans of the cartoon, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Then, when Rainbow Honey announced her Equestria Collection I showed my mom how cute the polishes were and she pre-ordered them for Maggie. They were to be used as a potty training present. (Don't worry, I won't go into details, just know she's been doing an AMAZING job!) So, as soon as they came in I decided to not make her wait to see them. Plus, I didn't want to wait myself. THEY ARE SO PRETTY!!

Maggie's Corner #7 - I'm A Barbie Girl

It's been a while since we did a Maggie's Corner. I think she's missed it too. When Maggie saw me painting my toes the other night she got SOOOOOO excited! She just had to have the exact same color. We are definitely feeling springy in this house as we both have bright Barbie pink toes now! This is probably my new favorite bright pink! The formula was AMAZING. So smooth! I did 2 coats on me and 1 coat on Maggie. I really probably could have just done 1 on mine. I was shocked. Nicole by OPI's All Kendall-ed Up from the Kardashian Kolors KCollection. If it's not in your stash, it should be! Now here are some cute Maggie toes that will help try to talk you into it! :o)

Maggie's Corner #5 - My little Nerd

I recently got a nasty cut on my finger while chopping onions. I'm sorry it put my posts out of commission for a few days, but I got a chance to revamp some things. Yesterday, I decided I had had enough and Maggie and I really needed to mani/pedis. Instead of diving straight into smothering my hand in acetone, I tested things by taking off Maggie's polish. No issues!! I was so happy! After that, I couldn't wait to get her in bed so I could finally chance my nail color. 3 days of the same colors was driving me batty! I told Maggie to go pick a color and she came back with this...

Maggie's Corner #4 - Peeps Please!

Since Maggie got her Easter basket, she's practically been begging me to use the Peeps polish on her. So, this morning while relaxing with Toy Story, for the umpteenth time, I broke them out! Such cute tiny little bottles and the colors are so fun and vibrant! And when they dry, they smell delicious!!! The one downside is that on tiny toes, when they are so close together and you can't separate them much, the smells blend together so you can't smell each one on it's own. I did the usual 1 coat on her toes and was impressed with the coverage. The yellow was a little blotchy, but the color is pretty. My favorite is the green, it's so shiny!! One of the pinks got messed up pretty quickly, she really doesn't know how to sit still. haha I really ended up liking these a lot the formula wasn't awful, the colors were bright and cheerful and even ended up having more shimmer than I was expecting when they dried, and for baby toes, they all had full coverage in 1 coat other than the yellow. I'm thinking I'll be trying them at some point myself! Will definitely keep you posted!

Maggie's Corner #3 - Princess?

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! I had family in town so, between cleaning and getting ready for them and having them in town, I'm sorry for being MIA for so long. But I have the material for several posts, plus I owe you a Monday Giveaway Rundown post! 

Ever since we found out we were having a girl, we asked everyone to never call Maggie "princess" or to try not to use it around her unless referring to a specific princess. So, I was kind of shocked when, earlier last week, Maggie said she wanted to dress like a princess that day. Thankfully she ended up in tights, a leotard, ballet shoes, 2 tutus and a crown. But then Saturday, she told me she wanted princess toes. So, of course, we had to go sparkly! LOTS AND LOTS OF SPARKLE! I was lucky enough to pick up several lovely polishes over the weekend and had picked up the perfect one for a princess pedi fit for my Maggie. The lucky winner for Maggie this week was...

Maggie's Corner #1 - Zoya

For those of you who don't personally know me, I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter named Margaret "Maggie" Grace. She's sassy, opinionated and tries to be very independent. She usually insists on picking out her own clothes and is very creative in that department.
