Today, I've swatched the Awaken Collection from Zoya. Since this crazy weather refuses to let us believe that Spring is actually upon us, the Awaken Collection will make sure you're ready for Spring despite how cold it may be outside.

A few weeks ago I won a polish naming contest (you'll see the post on that polish later) for Shirley Ann Nail Lacquer and she was kind enough to send a couple other polishes for me to review. I'm going to show you those two today!

I'm so excited that I have a new (to me) indie to show you all today. I was sent two gorgeous beauties from Polish Yer Hooves to review for you all. 

First of all, I love the name of the brand...now. It is so light hearted and fun. It makes you giggle and looking at the labels will possibly bring you to a full blown laugh. Very unique and playful! Polish Yer Hooves isn't kitsch. I have to admit, the first time I heard of this brand I rolled my eyes at the name. But past that initial "what was she thinking?" thought you get the "OMG it's so cute and makes total sense!!" thought. Then you look into what is being produced by the brand, and they are backing it up with some really fun polishes. 



I love being wonderfully surprised by a new indie. There's always that sense of doubt when you try a new indie. All sense of doubt was wiped away with the first coat of polish from Polish Yer Hooves. Beautiful formulas, no issues with application...just all around love for these two lovelies. 

All polishes from Polish Yer Hooves are 3 free and cruelty free. The prices range from $3.50 for nail art pens to custom polishes for $10. Also available are cuticle oils, hand painted bottles and full sets of some of the polishes. A lovely variety to choose from, definitely worth a look! 

Both of the above swatches are topped with Magpie Shine top coat ($7) and I used Sweet Nectar cuticle oil ($6) to hydrate my cuticles. Both are from A Girl Obsessed.

I have a couple more beauties from Sweet Heart Polish to show you all today. A while back, she asked for help in naming a couple polishes. My name was picked for one of them, so I won a bottle of each of them.

The polish I named was Vintage, So Adorable. Funny story. I actually only meant to name it Vintage. But instead of a period, I accidentally placed a comma. I was trying to tell her that the polish was adorable. However, it still won and I like the name and I love the polish even more!

Hello to all my lovelies!!! How I missed you all so! I'm sorry I took the month off, but anything and seemed to go wrong at home and when we finally got over the humps it was family vacation time. I really needed the time to regroup emotionally. I'm back now, and I have some catching up to do! So let's get started...

I was out of town for the holidays and wasn't paying attention to anything that had to do with technology. I totally forgot about my Julep Maven box that month. Had I been paying attention to my emails, I probably would have skipped this box. It's not a bad box, but they were all colors I already had in my collection.

WOW!!! I still can't believe it's already 2013! I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years Eve! We let the munchkin stay up and ring in the new year with us at home watching movies and enjoying family time. It was a great evening! Already loving how 2013 is starting out! :o)

Today, I have a polish that completely surprised me. Maggie and I made a trip to ULTA a while back. I let her pick out 2 polishes for giveaways and then we got a free one so I let her pick one for us to keep and it turned out she picked 2 of the same polish.

Today, I have a stunning, glitter packed polish from Shimmer Polish for you. I'm going to be honest. When I first received this polish, I told myself, "UGH another blue glitter. How am I going to make this look different from the other ones I have?" Then, I put it on to get inspiration. I immediately knew exactly what I wanted to pair it with and I fell in love! (I love a polish that totally surprises me!! Don't you?)

I was recently contacted by Tip Top Nails to review some of their products. I gladly accepted. I'm always up for trying new polishes and seeing what all is out there. I'm a fan of their Facebook page and I haven't really been able to tell much about their products. They do a lot of tips and tricks and nail art on there. If you know me, you know I completely suck at it! So, with the amount of nail art contests they have on their page, I really wasn't sure what I was getting myself into with this review. 

As many of my readers know, I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl. So, of course, we love My Little Pony and are fans of the cartoon, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Then, when Rainbow Honey announced her Equestria Collection I showed my mom how cute the polishes were and she pre-ordered them for Maggie. They were to be used as a potty training present. (Don't worry, I won't go into details, just know she's been doing an AMAZING job!) So, as soon as they came in I decided to not make her wait to see them. Plus, I didn't want to wait myself. THEY ARE SO PRETTY!! 

Maggie decided she needed a change. She told me she wanted something "CRAAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZYYYYYYY!!!!" (She said this shaking her head back and forth and her arms waving frantically in the air. I was definitely smiling!) Mind you, does this look like the face of a crazy person?
