Secret Cupid Swap

Back in February, a group I'm in did a Secret Cupid Swap. It was so much fun and I got some amazing things! Unfortunately, it took me until now to be able to swatch them. Better late than never. The ever lovely Jayme from Varnished Reputation got my name so these are all the beauties that she picked for me. It just happens that everything she got me happened to be on my want lists. A lot of new to me indies. I have so much to show you...ready?!?!

SinfulColors Got A Blush On You is a vibrant fuchsia texture with specks of pink and blue iridescence. This is three coats of Got A Blush On You for full opacity. I had been wanting this whole collection, but I couldn't find it anywhere. She found me two of the colors and I'm eternally grateful! No top coat was used in this swatch. I love the texture of it. Applied like a dream and I didn't have to clean up at all. Beautiful color, wonderful polish!

SinfulColors Purple Gleam is a violet purple texture with specks of pink and blue iridescence. This is three coats of Purple Gleam for full opacity. The same perfect application as Got A Blush On You in another wonderful color. I admit, I think Got A Blush On You is my favorite of the two, but they are both beautiful!

I Love Nail Polish Cygnus Loop (H) is described as "stunner of a polish that will shuffle through a bright purple, to orange, to yellow, to a little bit of green with just the right amount of holographic splendor". This is three coats of Cygnus Loop (H). It was fully opaque at 2 coats, but third is a charm and look at all that charm!! Great application, although I wasn't a fan of the brush. This is more of a scattered holo where the ones I swatched the other day were linear holos. Honestly, I don't know which I like more, but I love them both. $12.50

Rainbow Honey Pink Cloud is described as "a hot pink jelly with holographic glitters and iridescent shimmer". This is three coats of Pink Cloud for full opacity. This is a polish I was sent to review when it first released and I loved it so much I needed a full sized bottle. It was on my wish list and here it is! Oh it's so pretty!! $10

Sealore Seafetti is a pale blue crelly base filled with a blue to green iridescent flake and aqua, green and yellow hexes. Seafetti also glows in the dark. This is three coats of Seafetti. It didn't become opaque, but it was necessary because the hexes had a rough time coming out of the bottle. The formula was on the thick side, but to ensure I was able to get hexes onto my nails it was necessary to leave it a little thick. It may take a bit longer for each coat to dry, but in the end it's worth it.

Unfortunately, it was difficult to capture Seafetti in the dark, you get the gist of it though.

piCture pOlish Peacock is described as "a mix of emerald glitter and blue multi particle with purple/white sparks Peacock is handmade with a rich purple pigment and stunning glitters". This is three coats of Peacock for full opacity. I FINALLY OWN A PICTURE POLISH!!!!! What a perfect polish to start a new obsession. Peacock applied like a dream without any clean up. Fantastic brush, wonderful formula. Not a single complaint from me (except that the bottle might be too small). $10.82

Mentality Sourball is described as "a green jelly holographic nail polish". This is three coats of Sourball for full opacity. Another new to me indie, this beauty had an AMAZING formula with a silky smooth application. No clean up as the brush was easy to manipulate. Blown away by everything about this polish and have a strong urge to get more! $7.25

I am extremely happy with the polishes Jayme sent me. Each one is stunning! I love being able to try new indies and she was able to open my eyes to a few new ones. Hello, Mentality and piCture pOlish, please send me all the polishes!!

The above swatches are topped with Magpie Shine top coat ($7) and I kept my cuticles hydrated with Sweet Nectar cuticle oil ($6). Both by A Girl Obsessed.
