SinfulColors Green Ocean

Green Ocean is finally mine! For the past 2 years, every time I would go hunting for this elusive polish it was always gone. The whole display would be full except for a couple spots where Green Ocean should have been. A few weeks ago, I went to the grocery store and decided to cut through the cosmetics aisle for whatever reason and there it was!! A lone bottle just begging me to take it home. So I did. I'm beyond giddy that I actually have Green Ocean now!!

SinfulColors Green Ocean is a sheer green jelly base filled with green-blue iridescent flakies and small glitter. This is two coats of Green Ocean over three coats of SuperChic Lacquer Figment of My Reality. Every time I'd look up swatches, I'd see it over black. I knew I had to do something a bit different. I love Green Ocean paired with a mint base. It applied beautifully and there is no fishing for glitter. It really is a dream polish. There's a reason everyone goes crazy over it when St. Patty's Day comes around. It's gorgeous! $1.99

After I was done with the pictures, I looked at the swatch and thought I needed to do something else. Why not matte it?!?! I grabbed my new favorite matte top coat from A Girl ObsessedMatte-ict $7, and did a coat on each nail. I loved this so much more than I imagined! Matte-ict has redefined matte nails for me. It's absolutely perfect!!

Have any of you been hunting for Green Ocean every year as well?! It's worth the wait!!

The first swatch was topped with Magpie Shine top coat ($7) and I used Sweet Nectar cuticle oil ($6) to hydrate my cuticles. Both from A Girl Obsessed.

Gorgeous! I finally found one this year too! But I hadn't figured out what color to layer it over - definitely going to try a mint or pastel green! :)
