Zoya Monet

**The product in this post was provided to me by the manufacturer for my honest review. All my opinions are my own. I was not compensated.**

Along side the Awaken Collection is a topper named MonetMonet is described as "a multicolored cellophane holographic special effect topper". It is a pink tinted jelly base filled with multicolored iridescent hex glitter. In the bottle it looks like a fun and versatile glitter topper, once you pull the brush out, you see that it's thick and gloopy. It's not the normal beautiful formula that Zoya is known for. It's extremely difficult to work with. I did swatch it over all the polishes from the Awaken Collection

This is one coat of Monet over three coats of Cole.

This is one coat of Monet over three coats of Rebel.

This is one coat of Monet over three coats of Brooklyn.

This is one coat of Monet over three coats of Dillon.

This is one coat of Monet over three coats of Dot

This is one coat of Monet over three coats of Hudson.

See? In the bottle and on the nail it's beautiful! Extremely versatile and flirty, but in the end, the formula is terrible. If you're willing to risk it, go for it. If you're not one who cares about formulas, just the end result, you'll probably love Monet. Get a bottle for yourself for $10 and let me know what you think!

These swatches were topped with Magpie Shine top coat ($7) and I used Sweet Nectar cuticle oil ($6) to hydrate my cuticles. Both from A Girl Obsessed.

What's s funny is I tried it just before I found your post and I totally agree!! I was trying to extend mani one more day. Sparkly but lumpy. :(

I love your swatches. Couldn't even tell it was lumpy.

It's perfectly fine once you get past the application. It's just a personal opinion whether you think it's worth the lumpy polish to get to that point or not. haha

Thank you! I'm so glad it didn't look lumpy on the nail. I think I might have curled up and cried if it did.
