Happy happy hump day, everyone! (Just kidding! I really hate that term.) Happy Wednesday though!! So, yesterday you all got to see the dark and mysterious The Wine List Collection. Things are getting flip-flopped today! We are going back to brights! Top Shelf Lacquer couldn't stay away from the bright beauties. Let's be honest, all of her polishes are named after alcoholic beverages. What draws us into a beverage more than the taste? You know you've said it..."Oooooo that drink is so pretty! What is that?" Right? The color and look of a drink draws us ladies in. We do enjoy a visually pleasing beverage before it even touches our lips. Well, Top Shelf Lacquer does an amazing bringing the sips from our lips to our tips with the Tropical Cocktail Paradise Collection.

Take a peek!

Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon is described as "a bold blue creme with pink iridescent micro flakies".
Shown is three coats of Blue Lagoon.
Blue Lagoon is every blue lover's dream. It's bright and vibrant and one of the most fantastic cobalts I've seen. The flakies just add that extra bit of oomph to put it over the edge.

Green Iguana

Green Iguana is described as "a lush green creme with turquoise iridescent micro flakies".
Shown is three coats of Green Iguana.
Green Iguana was one of my favorites from this collection. I may be partial to greens, but this one was so much fun. It really was more of a jelly than a creme, but who cares about that technicality..it's such a fun green. Some people said it stains, but I had no issues with it staining on me. If you're prone to staining where others are not, do yourself a favor and prep wisely. Don't pass this one up though. In fact, someone who stamps, please buy then then stamp over it with a snakeskin print. PLEASE!!!!

Purple Flip-Flop
Source: pinterest
Purple Flip-Flop is described as "an amethyst purple creme with blue iridescent micro flakies".
Shown is three coats of Purple Flip-Flop.
Purple Flip-Flop is one of those purples that just seem to glow. Even if you took the flakies out, it would still have that sense of illumination. This was the only polish that was a bit of patchy to me, but the 3rd coat seemed to even everything out.

Blue Hawaiian

Blue Hawaiian is described as "a turquoise blue creme with gold iridescent micro flakies",
Shown is two coats of Blue Hawaiian.
This blue is everything. Blue Hawaiian is the ultimate turquoise blue cream. It's the color you envision when you think of crystal clear water around a Caribbean island. YOU NEED THIS POLISH. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Pink Flamingo

Pink Flamingo is described as "a bright and fun pink creme with gold iridescent micro flakies".
Shown is two coats of Pink Flamingo.
Ever tell yourself "Self, you've got more than enough pink polishes. You've got just about every shade of pink there is. Don't waste your money on another one."? Yeah, neither have I. But if you have, you'll have to pull your wallet out of retirement for this beauty. It's a head turner and will guarantee you get some attention.

Wild Orchid Cocktail
South: twicsy
Wild Orchid Cocktail is described as "a vibrant orchid creme with pink iridescent micro flakes".
Shown is two coats of Wild Orchid Cocktail.
I don't know why radiant orchid was the color of the year last year, because there have been some amazing orchid colored polishes this year! Wild Orchid Cocktail is definitely one of them. This might be one of the more unique orchid polishes I've had in my possession. It's everything I wanted the orchid polishes to be last year...and some!
$9.50
All of these had a wonderful formula and application. Purple Flip-Flop was the only one that was a bit patchy for me, but wasn't for any of the other swatchers...so I wouldn't worry about that. Green Iguana was a bit sheer and required an extra coat. Those were the only "issues" I came across and they weren't even really issues. Each one of these polishes is truly unique and something special. It is extremely hard to pick a favorite.

The Tropical Cocktail Paradise Collection will be released at noon EST on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, along with The Wine List Collection. The whole collection will be available HERE for $50 or $9.50 individually. If you like both collections and get them both, or just want two sets of one collection (or any of the other 3 collections she has available), you will get free shipping.

What do you all think about this collection? Any stand outs?
