Rachel from Ever After Polish recently contacted me and asked if I would review Miranda's Birthday Duo. It was created to celebrate Miranda (the lady behind the hand care side of things at Ever After)'s 30th birthday. How could I refuse?! I love birthdays! Of course I want to help celebrate hers! This duo is going to be a no brainer for you guys. Just wait until you see these swatches...in fact...let's jump right in. Shall we?

Dirty 30 is described as "a minty aqua creme".
Shown is three coats of Dirty 30.
Dirty 30 has a super smooth application. The color is simply amazing! At least three coats are needed. It may be a cream, but you will be highly impressed

Booby Trap
Booby Trap is described as "a full coverage pink and gold flake".
Shown is three coats of Booby Trap.
Booby Trap was a surprise for me. In the bottle I didn't think I'd like it, but it is stunning once on the nail. It just comes to life and demands attention. Smooth application, even with all the flakies.

Before you ask, yes, I tried to put Booby Trap over Dirty 30. It doesn't work. I wanted it to work so badly though. Booby Trap is so full of flakies it doesn't spread well when trying to be used as a topper. It ends up looking patchy and off. These beauties are definitely meant to be separate, but they work beautifully side by side.

Miranda's Birthday Duo is available now for $19. They are also available to be purchased separately. Dirty 30 is $8 and Booby Trap is $11. Go ahead and get both though. If you only get one, you'll regret not getting the other. AND as an added bonus, $2 of every bottle of Booby Trap sold will be donated to cancer research. How can you say no to that? Once again, get a lovely polish AND support a good cause.

I also received a small container of their Pumpkin Pie Cuticle Crelli (available for $4 along with Big City Apple and Hocus Pocus scents). However, I am not able to get it open. It turns out Miranda is the Hulk and thinks the rest of us are too. I do love the container it comes in. I can't wait until I figure out how to get it open. The basic white girl inside me is crying for the pumpkin spice stuff I'm not smelling/using.

What do you guys think of these? I'm loving all the brands that have been selling polish to help charities lately. Makes me happy to know our addictions are doing some good! ;o)
