LynBDesigns Big Number Collection Swatch and Review

**Press Samples**

I have been waiting almost 2 years to show you all this post!! I went to Jennalyn from LynBDesigns and said we need to do a musicals collection. She agreed and we set to work. I came up with a list of stuff and some ideas and sent it off to her. She took my list and had her way with it. Tweeking and vetoing and changing and swapping. After issues hunting down specific glitters, and issues with glitters bleeding and curling, and extensive testing to make sure those issues didn't happen again, the Big Number Collection is finally complete. Come Friday, it could be yours! She worked her magic, and I'm in love! You ready to see all of these?!

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Too Pure to be Pink
Inspired by Grease.
Too Pure to be Pink is described as "a white crelly base with holo shimmer, and a subtle rose shimmer".
Shown is three coats of Too Pure to be Pink with top coat.
Too Pure to be Pink is a fun and different way highlight such a colorful show. This was the only one that I had a slight issue with application. White crellies can be a bit finicky. I kept accidentally applying too thick and it would take a while to dry, then the next coat would pull. Once I slapped myself around and found some patience (and I added a couple drops of thinner), I had no issues whatsoever.

We all know what really happened to Sandy though...

All That Jazz
Inspired by Chicago.
All That Jazz is described as "a pale tan crelly base with peach shimmer, gold holo glitter, and subtle holo shimmer".
Shown is three coats of All That Jazz with top coat.
All That Jazz was a fast favorite of mine. I love nude polishes!! This one is fabulous and has just the right amount of something extra. Beautiful application. I did three thin coats, but you could easily do two regular coats and get full opacity. This one isn't super sheer.

This polish has me all...

Dreams Were Made and Used and Wasted
Inspired by Les Miserables.
Dreams Were Made and Used and Wasted is described as "a taupe crelly with blue fantasy flakes, gold flakes, and subtle holo shimmer".
Shown is three coats of Dreams Were Made and Used and Wasted with top coat.
Dreams Were Made and Used and Wasted is so much like the movie/show. Dark and dreary at first, but comes to life once you take a deeper look. Almost like she bottled the definition of "hope". Good application, but make a note to do thinner coats with this one. The thinner the coat, the more you do, and the more flakies you'll get. The layering is gorgeous and you get so much depth.

This may or may not have been me when I had to take this off.

Never Forget Never Forgive
Inspired by Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Never Forget Never Forgive is described as "a grey crelly with linear holo effect, and red shimmer".
Shown is three coats of Never Forget Never Forgive with top coat.
Never Forget Never Forgive is a must have for you grey lovers. Three thin coats, two regular coats, or one coat over a grey creme...take your pick. Either way, this polish will shine. Great application and lovely formula. Once that red shimmer comes out to play, you're going to be so happy you picked this one up.

When I unwrapped this one, I didn't think twice and set it down...then that red shimmer popped and I was like...

Ultra Clutch
Inspired by Hairspray.
Ultra Clutch is described as "an aqua crelly with white and pink glitters, flakies, and a hint of pink shimmer".
Shown is three coats of Ultra Clutch with top coat.
Ultra Clutch is like the epitome of a perfect Spring day. I don't know why, but it is what I think of. The beautiful blue sky, flowers starting to pop out, the gentle breeze, and the smell of Spring...this polish isn't scented, but if it did...it would smell like Spring. I just know it. A beautiful formula and amazing application. This polish will put a smile on your face...even if the sight of John Travolta in drag doesn't.

*sigh**swoon*

No Day But Today
Inspired by Rent.
No Day But Today is described as "a micro glitter explosion in colors of gold, silver, blue, green, pink, red, and fuchsia".
Shown is three coats of No Day But Today with top coat.
No Day But Today is a celebration in a bottle. The colors are their own, but together they make something happy and vibrant. It is a glitter, so use three coats or feel free to apply with the sponge method. Either way will get you the desired opacity. You could easily use it as a topper if you so choose.

For those of you that aren't glitter fans...

Rise Up
Inspired by Hamilton.
Rise Up is described as "bronze to orange to red shifting base loaded with UCC flakies, gold holo glitter, and blue flakes".
Shown is two coats of Rise Up with top coat.
Rise Up is the star of this collection (for me at least). That's not just because it is the hardest show to get a ticket to on Broadway right now. (Seriously, if you aren't familiar with the show, tickets are sold out well over a year in advance. I'm so thankful we were even able to get tickets to see it this upcoming January. Beyond excited! The show is a rap storytelling of Alexander Hamilton...yeah, I know. Crazy, right? Listen to the cast recording...it's full of joy, passion, beauty, sorrow, and love. It will hit you right in the feels.) Back to the polish. This polish is so packed and busy, but it is extremely cohesive and makes so much sense. Like she had to have been a crazy person to thrown all this together and go..."yup! this works!". Flawless application despite it being PACKED with glitter and goodies. Someone needs to use this as the base for some nail art please!! Yeah, I already know I'll be wearing this when I see it in January.
$10
If I ever met Jennalyn, I'd probably do this. She'd know exactly what it meant and be completely satisfied...(pun intended for those of you who know the show.)

I Am the Mask You Wear
Inspired by Phantom of the Opera.
I Am the Mask You Wear is described as "a muted purple with golden shimmer, white shred glitter, and white flakes".
Shown is three coats of I Am the Mask You Wear with top coat.
I Am the Mask You Wear seemed to be a bit of another untraditional way to capture the inspiration. Normally people would go very dark with red and white accents, but I love the smokey purple. It beautifully captures all the smoke and murky lighting in the movie/show. The added glitter and shimmer were not added with a heavy hand. She kept this beauty so delicate. It did need three coats for full opacity, but remember I do thin coats.

Anyone else watch this movie then have wonderful Gerard Butler dreams afterward? Yeah, me neither...

No One Mourns the Wicked
Inspired by Wicked.
No One Mourns the Wicked is described as "a cerulean jelly with green fantasy flakes, black holo glitter, and green to blue shifting shimmer".
Shown is three coats of No One Mourns the Wicked with top coat.
No One Mourns the Wicked is going to be another favorite from this collection. Flawless application and formula. The end result is absolutely magical. The perfect blend of colors with a battle of light and dark. If you love flakies...you need this polish!

You know you want this one...

What Happiness Is
Inspired by Cats.
What Happiness Is is described as "a deep teal with silver shimmer and blue galaxy glitter".
Shown is three coats of What Happiness Is with top coat.
What Happiness Is may be inspired by Cats, but if someone doesn't use this as the base for a galaxy mani I'm gonna claw someone's eyes out! This polish has so much dimension and sparkle it will pull you in. Kind of like that moment, if you're a cat lover, when you first see a cat. Your eyes get big, you put your hands in front of you, and you move toward it so slowly. You will have those feels for this one whether you like Cats or not. Full of glitter but great application. You bet I'll be wearing this when I see the show in September.
$10
This polish will have you like...

Elizabeth
Inspired by The Producers.
Elizabeth is described as "a deep purple jelly with gold, green, purple, and pink flakies".
Shown is three coats of Elizabeth with top coat.
Elizabeth will make you giggle when you find that in the movie/show they have given Adolf Hitler the middle name of Elizabeth. It's a joke, and that's where she got the name of the polish. I hardcore giggled when I unwrapped this one and looked at the name. Application of this one was great. The flakies are so small they don't hinder application or anything. This polish squishy jelly, shimmery flakie perfection!
$8
Because I can't pass up a sexy, blonde, John Barrowman...*le sigh*

Antici...Pation
Inspired by Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Antici...Pation is described as "a black jelly with rainbow shimmer, and green, blue, pink, and fuchsia glitters".
Shown is three coats of Antici...Pation with top coat.
Antici...Pation is not as in your face as you'd think a RHPS polish would be. However, the subtleness of this one makes my heart happy. Great application, and you'll have the perfect amount of glitter and the perfect opacity after three thin coats. I wouldn't do any less unless you put this over a black creme. Anyone else excited for the reboot this October?!
