**Press Samples**

How in the world is it already August?! I refuse to believe that my kid starts school in 3 weeks. This summer flew by! As I'm trying to wrap my head around this, I've got four new pretties from Stardust Beauty on the blog today. Later tonight, she will be releasing her Hot Wheels inspired mini collection. I've got my review and swatches of them all to show you. There is a little something for everyone in here. Be prepared to love at least one of these! Let's get to it!

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
'43 Hot Rod
Provided by maker
'43 Hot Rod is described as "a bright pink scattered holo with platinum flakes and micro holo silver glitter".
Shown is three coats of '43 Hot Rod with top coat.
'43 Hot Rod is so incredibly pink! This pink is in your face and you can't help but love it. It is a sheer polish, so expect to do at least three coats to get to full opacity. Flawless formula. There were no issues getting the flakes out or placing them on the nail. The flakies going all over the nail with each stroke was something I worried about, but it didn't happen with this one!

'69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator
Provided by maker
'69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator is described as "a dark teal crelly with multiple size/shape black, neon green, and neon yellow glitter".
Shown is three coats of '69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator with top coat.
'69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator is a freaking dream! I love this dusty teal shade. The added scattered specks are great. I have to admit, I didn't really see them until this beauty was on my nails. She added the perfect amount. There were zero application issues, and no fishing for glitter. It does dry slightly matte, so make sure to use a top coat if you want a glossy finish.

'69 VW Squareback
Provided by maker
'69 VW Squareback is described as "a full coverage purple, orange, violet, gold, blue, and turquoise micro glitter in a slightly tinted blue/green base".
Shown is three coats of '69 VW Squareback with top coat.
'69 VW Squareback is such a fun polish! It is heavy on the glitter so it is slightly thick. I was able to spread it easily so it didn't look thick on the nail. I did try this as a topper, and it covered the base color too much. I was really sad it didn't work out, but I did try. I'm a glitter fan, so of course I loved this. Would make for a great base for some nail art! And how cute is that inspiration car?

'71 El Camino
Provided by maker
'71 El Camino is described as "a purple polish with purple/pink and blue/purple multichrome micro flakies".
Shown is three coats of '71 El Camino with top coat.
'71 El Camino has a shaky start with the application. It is streaky with that first coat, but the second and third coats are flawless. The streakiness is only from the crazy amount of flakies in there. The only disappointment was not being able to capture the gold shimmer that was prominent in the bottle. An all around beauty. She did a great job capturing the look of the car as well as adding a little something extra.
