Bohemian Polish PolishCon Exclusive Brooklyn Beauties Collection Swatch and Review

9:22 AM

**Press Samples**

It's the last week before spring break here. I've been swatching up a storm trying to get a lot done before I'm hanging out with the munchkin. It's her last spring break, they decided to get rid of it starting next year, so we have to make the most of it.

I've got my first peek into some of the exclusives that will be offered at PolishCon in a few weeks. Starting off with Bohemian Polish. She will be offering four exclusive polishes she has so aptly named the Brooklyn Beauties. Soft, ethereal shades that show off the softer side of Brooklyn. I hope you all have mules ready to go. You're going to need them for this event!

Brooklyn Beauties Collection

Cherry Blossoms in Brooklyn
Inspired by the cherry blossoms that bloom in Prospect Park.
Cherry Blossoms in Brooklyn is described as "a soft pink polish with a green shimmer".
Shown is three coats of Cherry Blossoms in Brooklyn with Flash Dry top coat.
Cherry Blossoms in Brooklyn is the perfect pink for spring! Soft and flirty, you can't go wrong! I did thin coats, so I figured three was better safe than sorry. Sometimes the shimmer will be blinding and will cover patchiness in areas in certain light. After three thin coats, I was fully covered. Beautiful application and formula.

Coney Island Cotton
Inspired by the cotton candy you crave as you walk along the boardwalk.
Coney Island Cotton is described as "a soft pink packed with blue shimmer".
Shown is three coats of Coney Island Cotton with Flash Dry top coat.
Coney Island Cotton is a bit brighter than the last, but still a wonderful shade of pink. The blue shimmer is almost hypnotic. Because of the amount of shimmer, I did three coats again to ensure there were no bare patches. Buttery smooth application. Not a thing to complain about.

Makin' Bacon Pancakes
Inspired by the Alicia Keys-Adventure Time mashup, Bacon Pancakes - New York Remix.
Makin' Bacon Pancakes is described as "a rich golden polish with orange shimmer".
Shown is two coats of Makin' Bacon Pancakes with Flash Dry top coat.
Makin' Bacon Pancakes is just as magical and bacon pancakes sounds! Everything about this polish is perfect. The peachy color is flawless. The shimmer is enchanting. The formula and application are the same amazing ones that is in all her polishes. I felt pretty satisfied with two coats. I was really surprised it was fully opaque without any patches.

Mermaid Parade
Inspired by the annual Mermaid Parade held at Coney Island.
Mermaid Parade is described as "a deep green polish packed with blue shimmer that shifts like the scales of a mermaid tail".
Shown is two coats of Mermaid Parade with Flash Dry top coat.
Mermaid Parade may be the outsider in the group, but this blue fits in beautifully among the pink sisters. The blue shimmer in Coney Island Cotton helps tie this one to the others. A must have for you blue lovers...even you mermaid lovers! Beautiful formula and opaque in only two coats. The amount of shimmer in this one kind of made the brush strokes show, but it applies so beautifully you need minimal strokes to get the nail fully covered.

The Brooklyn Beauties Collection will be available at PolishCon. Each bottle will be $9 or grab the whole set of four for $32. I highly suggest you get all four. Each one is beautiful, but they all would work well together in nail art or even stamping. I'm sure, if there are any left overs after the Con she will offer them to her Bohemian Babes group. Make sure you have joined the group so you can find a mule, or snag up some of the left overs.

She will also be introducing four new cuticle oil scents at PolishCon. My nose had the pleasure of smelling these over the past couple weeks. You guys are in for a treat!

Cuticle Oils

Cannoli
Cannoli is described as "a powdered sugar cannoli shell filled with sweet ricotta cream".
$4.50

Cheesecake
Cheesecake is described as "a freshly baked cheesecake like you'd find at Junior's".
$4.50

Coney Island
Coney Island is described as "a mixture of cotton candy, sea air, and caramel popcorn".
$4.50

Mimosa
Mimosa is described as "a tart fizzy orange sent".
$4.50

Each of the cuticle oils will be available individually for $4.50, but, if you're like me, you are a cuticle oil hoarder and want them all. For you cuticle oil addicts, you can grab all four new scents for only $15. She will definitely have her Flash Dry top coat available for $6 too. It's one of my favorites, and I'm planning on grabbing another bottle myself. I warned you all that you were going to need a mule. I wasn't joking. I'm not even done showing you the pretties she will have available. Yeah...there's more! Make sure you are following Bohemian Polish on all of her social media platforms (links below) to stay updated on news, releases, and sales.
