I'm super excited about today's post. Be prepared for some nostalgia. Way back when, LynBDesigns released The Land Before Time Collection. It was adorable, but the formulas were off. Well, it turns out a lot of other people really wanted this collection to be reformulated. She listened! Boy, did she do a great job too! This is the last of my LynBDesigns posts for the week, so make sure your shopping list is ready to go for the release on Friday! Go check it out! I hope you love these as much as I do. Yep, yep, yep!
**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Petrie is described as "a white crelly base with golden glass fleck, a hint of green micro glitter, and black glitter in various shapes".
Shown is two coats of Petrie with top coat.
Petrie had a smooth application and was surprisingly opaque after two coats. I did have to fish for the larger glitters a bit, but I was glad that my nails weren't overly filled with them. It was a good balance.
Littlefoot is described as "a purple-toned grey crelly with silver, white, and purple iridescent glitters".
Shown is two coats of Littlefoot with top coat.
Littlefoot is classic and simple and will make you happy. The color is delicate and soft, and the glitter is a great addition. But the iridescent glitter was the surprise factor. When the light hits the purple it gives it that little something extra. Easy application and formula, and you won't need more than two coats. No fishing for glitter here.
Cera is described as "a peachy orange crelly with gold micro holo, orange micro holo, and pink micro glitter".
Shown is two coats of Cera with top coat.
Cera was a surprising favorite for me. The sherbet orange is fantastic and she used just the right amount of glitter. It isn't too much, and you aren't left wanting more. Fabulous formula and was fully opaque after two coats.
Spike is described as "a glitter topper with gold holo hexes, green squares, and iridescent squares".
Spike would look great over all the polishes in the collection, but I chose to go a different route so that it was able to shine on its own without the added glitter in the base colors. I love that this topper isn't packed with glitter. It's kind of lazy...like Spike. I did one coat of it, but you could do two coats if you wanted a bit more. You won't have to fish for anything either.
Ducky is described as "a bright green crelly base with golden micro shimmer and green micro glitter".
Shown is two coats of Ducky with top coat.
Ducky is such a playful green!! I did two coats of it, and you could still see a little VNL. It wasn't extremely noticeable, but I was satisfied with the amount of shimmer and sparkle. Wonderfully smooth formula and application. It will be easy to fall in love with this one...just like Ducky!
The Land Before Time Collection will be available on Friday, April 7th at 7 pm EST at https://lynbdesigns.store. Individual polishes will be $10 and the full set will be $50. Don't forget to use the code LITTLE from April 7th through the 14th to get 50% off all purchases. Don't forget about the other polishes releasing at the same time: the April monthly LEs and the charitable Terrible Twosome Duo. Make sure you are following LynBDesigns on all of her social media platforms (links below) to stay updated on news, releases, and sales.
I'm so glad she decided to reformulate this collection. The first one was so pretty, but had its issues. This one is so much better. What do you all think? Which are you picking up?
