Pretty and Polished Babes of Broadway Collection Swatch and Review

**Press Samples**

I've got another set of PolishCon exclusive polishes to show you all today. This time, it is the Babes of Broadway Collection from Pretty & Polished. Like me, she is a lover of musicals and the theatre. When she told me what she had planned, I squealed...loudly. Babes of Broadway is a set of four polishes that are inspired by actresses who have played iconic roles. The polishes are named for the roles, not the women. I've included pictures and videos so those of you who might be clueless can see what she was inspired by. Ready to get a peek?
There aren't any videos of Bette in this role, but here is one of the lady who originated the role of Dolly Levi, Carol Channing.
Inspired by Bette Midler who is currently playing Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly! on Broadway right now.
Dolly is described as "a spectacular chrome red with scattered holographic glitter. It is loud and eclectic...just like Bette Midler (Chelsea's favorite star and spirit "animal" ".
Shown is two coats of Dolly with top coat.

Inspired by Sutton Foster who originated the role of Jo March in Little Women on Broadway.
Jo is described as "a copper/gold polish with scattered holographic glitters and red glitters and flakes. Jo is a simple girl with an adventurous spirit, and the polish simple yet glamorous...just like her".
Shown is two coats of Jo with top coat.

And because I have to show you all my favorite Elphaba, Jessica Vosk. (audio only)
Inspired by Idina Menzel who originated the role of Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway.
Elphaba is described as "a color changing thermal that is black when cold and green when warm, and packed with color shifting flakes".
Shown is three coats of Elphaba with top coat.

Inspired by Barbra Streisand who originated the role of Fanny Brice in Funny Girl on Broadway.
Fanny is described as "a gorgeous medium purple with scattered golden holographic glitters, neon purple and gold flakes".

Each of these had a flawless application and formula. I didn't have to do clean up with any of them. Each one does their inspiration proud. The only one that required three coats was Elphaba. The light shade of green is light enough that doing the third coat was necessary. I don't have a bad thing to say about any of these. The thermal changes immediately at the drop of temperature. The others sparkle and shine and put on a little show every time you move your fingers.

The Babes of Broadway Collection will be available exclusively at PolishCon on April 29th. Each polish will be $9 individually or snag the whole set for $35. Do yourself a favor and just get all 4. These are a lot of fun and you'll get use out of them all year long! If you aren't attending NYC's PolishCon find a mule. No mule? She will be putting the left overs up for sale in her FaceBook fan group. So keep an eye on that! Make sure you are following Pretty & Polished on all of her social media platforms (links below) to stay updated on news, releases, and sales.

Are there any iconic Broadway/theatre roles you'd like to see a polish inspired by? What do you all think of these beauties? I've got more to show you from this brand before the Con, so keep your wish/shopping lists handy!
