Little Black Dress Nail Polish Prom King and Queen Duo Swatch and Review

**Press Samples**

I've got a beautiful blue duo from Little Black Dress Nail Lacquer to show you all today. These two blue beauties make up the Prom King & Queen Duo. About the inspiration she says, "My son's girlfriend's mother requested a custom polish to go with her daughter's prom gown so my inspiration was born, and the duo came to be. The colors were a hit so I decided to produce and market them. Much to our delight, the couple were crowned prom king and queen so I needed no imagination to come up with the names, lol.". I love that all of this came together so perfectly with the inspiration and names. It's not often things just happen that like. Let's get to it!

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Prom King is described as "a pigmented true navy blue cream".
Shown is two coats of Prom King with top coat.
Prom King absolutely blew me away! This color could easily be a one coater. I totally wasn't expecting how happy I would be with this one. It is incredibly pigmented. Double up on base coat and maybe use a latex barrier to protect your fingers. Would make an incredible stamping polish for sure! Easy application but a little thinner than I was expecting so you don't need a lot on on the brush.

Prom Queen is described as "a bright sparkly azure blue jelly polish with multiple glitters and holo flecks".
Shown is two coats of Prom Queen with top coat.
Prom Queen is so full of shimmer; this beauty practically glows! I was very impressed that this was fully opaque after two coats. Normally shimmer polishes like this need at least three. Beautiful application and easy to work with. I was just a little disappointed I couldn't get more of the glitter out, but it still ended up being a perfect manicure. I kinda wish she included a photo of the dress because, if this is what it inspired I bet the dress was stunning!

The Prom King & Queen Duo is available now at www.etsy.com/shop/littleblackdressnail for $15. Yes, it is only available in the set, but trust me, you'll want them both anyway! You could probably even put one coat of Prom Queen over Prom King for a complete manicure. Having a blue Monday? These two will surly turn your day around!

In addition to the polishes she sent me the most amazing cuticle oil!

Cuticle Oil
Golden Dew Cuticle Oil is described as "a scented cuticle oil made with vitamin E oil, argon oil, jojoba, tea tree oil, lanolin, and a blend of essential oils formulated to quench dry cuticles and supply nutrients to the nail bed".
Golden Dew Cuticle Oil is fantastic! The scent isn't overpowering at all. It's clean and simple. Sometimes I'll open a new cuticle oil and it will trigger a migraine from how strong it is, this wasn't that at all. I want to say it was almost a honeysuckle type scent. Just something you want to surround you and never leave.
TBD

Unfortunately, the Golden Dew Cuticle Oil isn't in the shop yet, but hopefully soon! There are several items, other than the Prom King & Queen Duo, that are worth checking out in her shop in the meant time! You won't be sorry!
