I've got a gorgeous collection from FingerPaints to show you all today. The Tie Dye Revolution Collection is the perfect collection for anyone obsessed with rainbows. I mean look at it. Yes, it's an abbreviated ROYGBIV and is more ROYGB, but does that really matter? A rainbow is a rainbow and they are all beautiful!!

It's been a really off morning for me. The munchkin woke up on the wrong side of the bed and made everything dramatic this morning. I couldn't get to the coffee quick enough! I decided not to over think things today and show off a polish I had swatched and didn't get a chance to show off with all the press samples that came rolling in.
I picked up this Finger Paints polish a month or so ago at a random Sally Beauty run. I believe I grabbed it from a clearance bin. The glitter caught my eye. That's the excuse I'm sticking to. ;o)

Once again, it's the end of the month (Seriously, how did March just fly by?!)! I've got some undies to show you today. Surprisingly there are only two. I'm going to keep this short and sweet today. I've had the Finger Paints Kaleidoscope collection since it arrived at my local Sally Beauty Supply, but it got buried under a ton of indies and I had forgotten about them. So glad to have found these and swatched them. I was only able to get a few from the original flakie collection, I couldn't let this one get away from me too. I know a lot of bloggers weren't thrilled with them, I had to find out for myself.

I needed something fun and different and somehow this came about. I'm in absolute love with the outcome. Pretty impressed with my attempt at nail art as well.
I used 2 coats of Finger Paints First Edition on my pinky, pointer and thumb and two coats of butter LONDON Wellies on my ring and middle fingers. Of course it needed something more. I added some dots with Wellies on my pinky and thumb then some stripes with First Edition on my ring finger. Once again, something was missing...I slapped on a coat of A Girl Obsessed new Matte-ict matte top coat. The end result? Check it out for yourselves!!

Happy Monday, lovelies!! I hope you all had as good of a weekend as I did! My hubby took me up to Syracuse, NY to see a friend of ours play Joanne in a production of RENT (one of my favorite musicals)! Of course, I had to do my nails for the occasion!
I couldn't wait any longer, I had to put NailVenturous Floam on my nails! The bottle was calling my name!! Only thing is that I had seen everyone who had it post about how they had issues getting it off. I decided to just use it as an accent nail. But what do you put with it that won't take away from it's glorious beauty but would just add the right amount? Something drew me to Wake Up! by essence Color & Go. I wanted to dress it up a bit and I hadn't tried any of my new Finger Paints flakes yet. I just knew Flashy would be perfect. (and it was!!) Also, I had to put something other than a base coat under Floam. Milani's Fresh Teal is perfection and practically meant to blend in with Floam.
I don't know if you all have noticed, but I've kinda been on a winning streak lately. The most recent one that I've received is from Take It With A Drop Of Polish. She had a fantastic 100 Blog Follower Giveaway, that I was lucky enough to snag! I was so excited about winning this!! This gave me my third Finger Paints flake. And who isn't wanting Floam in their collection?! I went from having zero indies to 5 in a week. I'm a very lucky, lady! I have to admit it.
I've received some good nail mail the past couple days! I got an email last week saying I still had credit on Copious. If you haven't been, it's pretty decent. When you sign up, you are given a $10 credit. So you can get some items for "free". I have to put it in quotes because technically they have to charge at least a penny for each purchase. They have just about anything other than groceries on there. Check it out! I've made 3 purchases from there so far and have gotten my items very quickly. I was eyeing a couple Sinful Colors polishes on there but by the time I went to check out, they were already sold. The next thing that caught my eye was this Milani. I hadn't tried any of their products yet and this one I saw was actually a lot of 2. So, why not! I can try one then I'll put one aside for a giveaway or a swap later on. So, here's my mini nail mail from Copious.
I finally had time to do a new mani today! I'm working on my time management in doing all my everyday things with Maggie, couponing, blogging and actually be able to do my manis. In a perfect world I'd change it everyday (not to match my outfits, just to do it), but let's face it... this world is far from perfect! :o) I'm settling for every other day at the moment. I wanted something fun and vibrant today. I wanted something pink so badly, but then I reached for orange! I love it so much! It's so simple (it got messy towards the end because Maggie woke up and wanted food), but pretty. I think that's the theme of most of my manis. So, here we go!!
I have just recently realized that there is a Sally's Beauty Supply practically next door to my Ulta. I think I might have been blind or something. So, when I found out they were having a B2G1 Free sale, of course I had to go! The main things on my list were: a bottle of Gelous, a new bottle of Seche Vite, and a matte top coat. Want to take a guess on what I walked out with? Come on... I know you want to... That's right, I walked in for 3 items and I walked out with 12 (The 2 not shown are a bottle of nail polish remover and a package of nail wheels). Here comes the eye candy!!
