NOTD - My Blue Baby Blues

Yesterday, I had a baby shower to go to. It was a lot of fun! I hadn't seen my friend in 3 years. Actually, the last time she saw me was when I was pregnant with Maggie. And the funny thing is, she's due just a few days before Maggie's birthday. There's always that off chance her baby will be born on Maggie's birthday. Would be funny... 

Anyway, for her baby shower I wanted to do something simple, but fun. I grabbed 10 of my blue glitter polishes and decided to do an ombre blue glitter mani. Obviously, I opted for blue because she's having a boy. I swiped each polish on a piece of paper so I could figure out what order to put them in. I thought I got it right, but after all was said and done, I had a couple that were a little off. It was ok though because it wasn't all that bad.

NOTD - Dreaming of Fall

With all this heat, I've been dreaming of fall and winter weather. I honestly didn't realize it until I finished this manicure. I'm in love with this color combination and with this manicure. My last post was super long so I'm not going to draw this one out.

A while back, Jess at Beauty Gnome told me she had been picking up some Sinful Colors polish for me which I was crazy excited about. Before she sent them though, I just HAD to check out her blog sale. Sure enough I saw a couple goodies I had to try.

Hauls/Nail Mail - Sally's and CVS and the elusive Julep Mystery Box!

I have just recently realized that there is a Sally's Beauty Supply practically next door to my Ulta. I think I might have been blind or something. So, when I found out they were having a B2G1 Free sale, of course I had to go! The main things on my list were: a bottle of Gelous, a new bottle of Seche Vite, and a matte top coat. Want to take a guess on what I walked out with? Come on... I know you want to... That's right, I walked in for 3 items and I walked out with 12 (The 2 not shown are a bottle of nail polish remover and a package of nail wheels). Here comes the eye candy!!

My "mostly" Everyday Makeup Products

So, I decided to have a little bit of fun with my make up today. Since I loved the Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow in Not Just Nudes so much, I went and got 3 more! I hadn't been able to try them yet, because they were a little intimidating. They are all so pretty, but not really colors I would normally wear and I got them to get me out of the norm. I decided to jump in and go for it today. I decided to use the Eternal Summer colors. Not my normal cup of tea, but they definitely are now!! (The picture of the shadows will be down below. I'll post my video, then all the products I showed in the video.)

Easter Weekend Hauls

I don't know about you all, but I found some AWESOME deals over the weekend. Had a couple shopping trips with my mom and a couple with my husband during a long overdue date night. I had to share my findings!! 

The first night my mom was here, we had to do some grocery shopping so we headed for Wegmans. I'm on the hunt for 2 full Wet n Wild Bejeweled Collections. One for me and one for the lovely Jessica at Beauty Gnome. (If you don't follow her yet, you should!) I know they are very hard to find. We did our grocery shopping so I decided to cut through the cosmetic aisle on our way to check out. And there they were... 4 sparkly little ladies just sitting there. 2 bottles of The Crown is Mine and 2 bottles of Born into Privilege. I grabbed them and slightly squealed with delight! 2 is a good start when there will only be 3 left to hunt down!

Last Day of March Hauls

Hello again, ladies!! I didn't get around to being able to post about my hauls over the weekend, so I'm doing it now. I had 1 little haul at CVS and then another (my very first visit to) Ulta. I didn't go too crazy at either place. We did some major grocery shopping so I did just enough to hold me over. 

I needed heating pads at CVS and they also had Revlon products at BOGO 50% off and I had 4/$1 off coupons, so I was able to have a little fun. (I had to get one of their items for my 50 follower giveaway and I got some for myself. Giveaway item is not shown FYI.) I, also, wanted to try the new Maybelline 24 Hour Super Stay lip gloss, since the one I did the review on last time wasn't available anymore and was pretty bad. So this is what I ended up with...

Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow Not Just Nude Review

Ok, ladies, I did things backwards! I used a new product this morning and decided to do a review because I feel in love with it. Now, I made this earlier in the day, but waited because I needed to ask my husband to help me with something, but he couldn't figure it out either. (My MacBook is 5 years behind his so it doesn't do all the fun stuff his does, but he still couldn't fix it.) So, I apologize in advance for the fact that the brands are backwards. :o) I promise I will figure it out and hopefully my videos to come will be better. I'll definitely learn to do it more quickly so the lighting doesn't get so bad so quick. The pictures definitely have more light than the video does.
