End of April Nail Mail and Mini Hauls

My goal this weekend was to buy for my swap boxes, not for myself. I did have a few that I ended up hiding at CVS that I wanted that I went back to get for myself. Those were the only ones I had planned on getting for myself. Then on a trip to Ulta, I came across a Zoya on clearance that I couldn't leave behind and then a couple at Giant when I went on a run to grab some things. I don't think I did badly! But I also got some nail mail goodies! Lots of nail mail goodies! I'm going to start with my mini hauls then go on to the nail mail.
First, I went to Target, but I only got basic groceries for my family and things for my swaps so I'm not going to ruin the surprise for those people. :o)
Next, I went to Ulta. I got some of what I needed for swaps, but not everything that I wanted. For myself, however, I did find an essence Color & Go polish I was looking for AND I came across a Zoya on clearance I had to grab!

Next I went to Wegmans, but once again, I only got groceries for the family. (I told you I was being good this month!!)
Yes, I had been good, except I was at CVS a couple days before and saw 3 polishes I had been looking for. Since I knew I wouldn't be able to get them until the weekend, I was naughty and I hid them. I don't normally do that. I normally say, if they are there when I know I can get them, then I'll know it's meant to be. But, I didn't want to play with fate this time around. haha

Later in the day, I missed a couple things so I ran to Giant to get them and I just "happened" to walk through the cosmetic department to get to the department I needed to be in. I just grabbed a couple Wet n Wild polishes I didn't have in my stash yet.

I got one generous bag of goodies in the mail on Saturday from Andrea at Finger Painting Fingers. She picked up a bunch of SinfulColors polishes for me since I am lacking a Walgreens. This is the amazingness that I got from her...

So, Monday rolls around and in my mail are 2 boxes!! One was my my Julep Maven box!! I was so excicted! The other was a box from my friend Carrie at ink&polish.
So, I've been an 'It Girl' Maven since I signed up. I haven't swapped boxes since and I've been so very happy with every one! This month was NO exception!

Top to Bottom: Kylie (magnetic), Nessa and Ashley. Also a small sample of The Best Pedi Creme Ever.
Nessa and Ashley are both foils. Beautiful yellow and orange foils. Kylie is a gorgeous purple that's on the blue side with some shimmer in it. I haven't tested out the magnent yet, but that will definitely be a post to come soon!
That brings me to my box from Carrie at ink&polish. She had decided to play around and make her first franken. She had shown me pictures and I just started drooling!! She said she was "Channeling her inner drag queen" and I had been helping her come up with a name for this lovely pink glittery goodness. After tossing names back and forth she decided on Kinky Boots. And it fits! It's all sorts of kinky, but I just have to use it wisely because it is a mini. She said she had some extra beads for a "fish egg" mani and was going to pop those in the box too. But to my surprise... there was MORE!!
