I am so excited about this collection, I had to swatch it at the last minute so I wouldn't do the post any earlier than she wanted. If you're a sane person, you're obsessed with Downton Abbey as much Jennalyn and I are. When she told me she was doing a Downton Abbey collection, the sound that shot out of my mouth was one that I wasn't proud of. I admit, I'm glad my daughter wasn't even around to hear it. Without further ado...I introduce to you...the Meet Me At The Abbey Collection from LynBDesigns.

It's Not Against the Law to Hope is a berry red jelly base filled with gold glass fleck glitter and purple to blue iridescent flakes. Shown below is three coats for full opacity.
It's Not Against the Law to Hope is inspired by the season 3 episode where Thomas sneaks into Jimmy's bedroom while he's sleeping. Now, I'm not a fan of Thomas at all, but this episode was a huge turning point in Thomas's storyline and such a memorable scene.
This polish had a perfect application and great formula. Zero issues other than the fact that I had to take it off to swatch another color.

M'Lady's Prerogative is a dusty lavender holographic foil polish. Shown below is three coats for full opacity, without flash.
M'Lady's Prerogative is inspired by Lady Mary Crawley. Not one specific moment, just her. She has such class and elegance and seems to have a love for purple. This polish is a perfect representation of her character.
This polish applies beautifully but thin. More coats are needed for full coverage.
$10

This photo is shown in partial light.

The following three photos are taken with flash to show the linear holographic portion of M'Lady's Prerogative.

I Am Beyond Impropriety is a pastel purple crelly filled with iridescent gold flakes. Shown below is three coats for full opacity.
I Am Beyond Impropriety is inspired by Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham. It's a quote of hers that sums her up completely and this color is perfection!
This polish is a little thick so make sure to use thin coats for a decent dry time.

The London Season is a clear based glitter topper with blue to green iridescent flakes and green, yellow, red, blue, purple, and pink stained glass glitters. Shown below is two coats over A Girl Obsessed But He Loves Pie.
The London Season is inspired by (and named after) the season 4 finale. It is a vibrant episode, and the inspiration shows in the polish.
A glitter topper with perfect application and minimal clean up from rogue glitters.

Fishing With No Bait is a beautiful golden peach nude holographic polish. Shown below is three coats for full opacity. The first few photos are without flash.
Fishing With No Bait is inspired by a line from Mary to Edith, but the polish radiates Edith through and through. A soft spoken, subtle, beauty that really shines when you're able to focus on her.
No issues with this lovely. It applies perfectly and had a wonderful dry time.

Desire of Suitors is a beautiful royal purple shimmer base filled with silver diamond shaped glitter, and several sizes and shapes of silver holographic glitters. Shown below is three coats for full opacity.
Desire of Suitors is inspired by the three gentlemen that are after Lady Mary's heart in season 4: Anthony Gillingham (Tom Cullen), Charles Blake (Julian Ovenden), and Evelyn Napier (Brenden Patricks).
Decent application, but the diamond glitter got a bit wonky and had to be manipulated, but that was the only issue.

Defender of the Down Trodden is a taupe crelly polish scattered with holo. Shown below is three coats for full opacity. The first few photos are without flash.
Defender of the Down Trodden is inspired by Matthew Crawley, may he rest in peace. One of everyone's favorite characters that was taken from us way too soon! A beautiful polish to remember him by.
Perfect application and such a stunning color.

However Whatever Whenever is a charcoal grey foil filled with holo. Shown below is two coats for full opacity. The first few photos are taken without flash.
However Whatever Whenever is inspired by everyone's favorite Downton Abbey couple, Anna & John Bates. The name of the polish is taken from a quote of Bates' that tugged on everyone's heart.
Stunning color and application, one of my favorites from this collection for sure!

Do I Look Like A Frolicker? is a orange jelly filled with pink to purple iridescent flakes. Shown below is four coats with some visible nail line.
Do I Look Like A Frolicker? is inspired by a line from Beryl Patmore to Mr. Carson, this polish shows of the fiery attitude of the cook.
A wonderfully smooth application, but a very sheer polish. If you're looking for full coverage, layer over a nude or white polish.

Gilding the Lily is a clear based glitter topper filled with glass flecked metallic glitter in gold and pink as well as dots in the same two colors. Shown below is two coats over A Girl Obsessed But He Loves Pie.
Gilding the Lily is inspired by a line that Lady Cora often says "No need to gild the lily". This combination is regal and dainty all at the same time. It perfectly represents Lady Cora.
Easy application and no need to fish for glitter with this one. Glitter clings to the brush each time you pull it out of the bottle.

Inspired by the spontaneous and fun loving Rose, In Charge of Fun is as crazy and unexpected as she is.

This collection will be available on Friday June 27th at 12 pm EST. The full collection won't be available at a discounted price, but individual bottles will range from $8 - $10. If I were you, I'd get the full collection, but my absolute MUST HAVES are However Whatever Whenever, Fishing With No Bait, The London Season, Defender of the Down Trodden, and Why Meddle?

If you're a fan of the show, you need to check these out! They are sure to hold you over until the next season starts up.

These swatches were topped with Magpie Shine top coat ($7) and I used Sweet Nectar cuticle oil ($6) to hydrate my cuticles. Both from A Girl Obsessed.
