I was down in North Carolina visiting my mom a couple months ago and had picked up a few polishes by Milani while down there. My stores don't get in the good stuff from them and their displays stay empty (or at least they always are when I go in), so when I saw these while I was down there, I knew I had to get some. The bag these were in got misplaced, which it why it took me so long to swatch these, but OMG are these creme formulas fantastic! Keep reading to see more!

Showy Sea-Green is a vibrant leaf green creme. This is two coats for full opacity. Smooth application, no clean up needed, self leveling formula. $4.99

Sugar Rush is a clear based glitter topper with medium sized matte hexes in white, yellow, spring green, peach and silver holographic hexes. This is two dabbed coats of Sugar Rush over Showy Sea-Green. The base out weighs the glitter. Yes, one of those frustrating formulas. I would dip the brush in and swirl it around in the bottle and slowly raise it out. Then I'd angle the brush and try to drain it of as much base as possible without losing any of the glitter. After that, I'd dab it on the nail. In the end, it's beautiful! Just a pain to work with to get the desired look. $4.99

Colorful Coral is just that! A vibrant orange leaning coral creme. This is two coats for full opacity. Colorful Coral has the same amazing formula as Showy Sea-Green. $4.99

Sugar High is a clear based glitter topper with small matte hexes in light and cobalt blue, yellow, peach, purple, and white. This is two coats of Sugar High over Colorful Coral. The application of this topper was better than Sugar Rush. It was more concentrated with glitter so it wasn't as difficult to work with. Some base still had to be drained off the brush, but not nearly as bad as Sugar Rush. $4.99

I love Milani polishes! I just wish they were more readily available to me. I hate having to buy everything online. The cremes are fantastic, but their glitter toppers need a bit of work. For what they are, they are good though. I've definitely used worse polishes from other companies. I am definitely in need of more! You can buy their polishes at CVS or on their website for $4.99.

Have you tried Milani polish before? What are your thoughts?

These swatches were topped with Magpie Shine top coat ($7) and I used Sweet Nectar cuticle oil ($6) to hydrate my cuticles. Both from A Girl Obsessed.
