Barielle Gentle Breeze Collection Swatch and Review
2:53 PM**Press sample**
It's a gloomy Monday here in Maryland, and I'm home nursing my sick 5 year old back to health so she can go back to school tomorrow. However, I swatched the new Gentle Breeze Collection from Barielle last week, and I knew these just couldn't wait another day. They needed to be up on Monday!
Pink Parasol is described as "a strawberry ice".
Shown is two coats of Pink Parasol.
Pink Parasol is a perfect bubble gum pink cream. Despite the super thin brush, Pink Parasol had a smooth application and great dry time. Two coats for full opacity.

Under the Sea is described as "a scuba blue".
Shown is three coats of Under the Sea.
Under the Sea is a darker, blue-leaning, teal polish with a soft shimmer. It is a bit on the sheer side so three coats were needed for full opacity. Slightly streaky application on the first coat, but it evens out.
$8
Champagne Bubbles is described as "a tangerine".
Shown is three coats of Champagne Bubbles.
Champagne Bubbles is a soft, peach-toned, nude crelly. It is on the sheer side. Three coats for full opacity. Streaky application at first, but it evens out by the third coat.
$8
Gray Sky is described as "a glacier gray".
Shown is three coats of Gray Sky.
Gray Sky is a pale gray with a hint of shimmer. I was most excited about Gray Sky, but, in the end, it was my least favorite. It had a streaky application, and didn't even out until the top coat, but something was a bit off for me. And I'm a grey lover. Three coats is necessary for opacity.
$8
Heaven Sent is described as "an aquamarine".
Shown is two coats of Heaven Sent.
Heaven Sent is a beautiful sky blue creme. Easy application and dry time. So vibrant and sure to get you in the mood for Spring.
$8
With all five of the swatches, I used Sheer Pink Protect Plus Nail Strengthener base coat ($16) and Ultra Speed Dry Manicure Extender top coat ($16).
The Gentle Breeze Collection is available now for $25 or, if the whole collection doesn't speak to you, purchase each bottle separately for $8.
The Gentle Breeze Collection is simple, but the perfect combination of colors for the transition from Winter to Spring. The brushes are on the thin side, but still easy to work with, you just have to do a couple extra strokes to cover the whole nail.
