NOTD - Valentine's Day mani

**The products in this post were both provided to me by the manufacturer and purchased by me with my own money. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated.**

Towards the end of last week, I was swatching the upcoming LynBDesigns collection, and I found inspiration. I wanted to do my Valentine's Day mani in sheers and sparkle! For the first time, I knew exactly what I wanted and didn't have to narrow anything down. Yes, I was completely shocked myself!

On my thumb is Orly Bling. I did 6 thin coats of Bling. It's not fully opaque, but it's perfect for me.
On my pointer finger is Floss Gloss BritBrit2000. I did 2 coats of BritBrit2000. It's clean and sheer with a hint of iridescent glitter. A favorite polish of mine!
On my middle finger is OPI Paris Couture for Sure. It is a black label polish that I've been treasuring and using sparingly. I used 4 thin coats of Paris Couture for Sure and it is pretty opaque.
On my ring finger is OPI Bubble Bath topped with Windestine Jeweled Sand. I did 3 coats of Bubble Bath and 2 coats of Jeweled Sand. Windestine is no longer in business, so unfortunately, Jeweled Sand is no longer available.
On my pinky finger is LynBDesings Fan Dance. I did two coats of Fan Dance. This one isn't available yet, but trust me, you'll know when it is!
I used LynBDesigns B-Sticky base coat and B-Shiny top coat on this entire manicure.

I am in love with this manicure! It's simple and super sparkly! Don't worry, though, I got a pedicure this weekend and went bright neon orange for that! And I've already planned my next NOTD to be nice and bright!

I haven't published what I was wearing on Valentine's Day yet, but I'm sure you'll see it soon ;) SIX coats of the Orly?? I have a 4 coat rule. That is my absolute limit before I am OVER it.

I really like your ring finger! Very pretty!

I love the glitter topper over the pale base!

I don't think I would have had the patience for SIX COATS of that Orly. Three coats and glitters start to give me problems. So, more power to you on that one! Other than that, I think the variety is lovely!

You did a really nice job tying all those colors together to make it cohesive! Love the glitter topper!

I'll chime in with the others - 6 coats?!?! I like these colors together, though!

They were super thin! haha They dried quickly. I knew I would have to do more on that nail so I'd go back and do a coat on it after doing a coat on another nail. It equaled out to the same. :o)

Thank you! That is probably my favorite too! I usually tend to favor whatever I put on that nail.

I'm obsessed with any glitter over nude bases. Try it with a matte neon glitter! It's amazing!

They were super thin and dried fairly quickly. I'd do a coat on it then another nail, then go back and do a coat on it before moving on. It all evened out and didn't really take any extra time. :o) Thank you!!

I love taking things you wouldn't normally put together and make them work. I don't do "nail art" per se, so this is how I do art for me.

I wouldn't normally do that many, but I didn't want anything under it and I knew it wouldn't take any extra time with the way I do my nails.

I love Bling but I wish they'd made it more opaque. I used it in a mani around Christmas and had to use a lot of coats. Beautiful mani though!

Cute skittles mani! I am enthralled by that LynBDesigns polish on your pinky, though! Gorgeous. I only did one V-day mani, which you can find here: http://www.dancerspolishedlife.com/2015/02/valentines-day-mani-featuring-mpolish.html
