SuperChic Lacquer Fancy and Flawless Swatch and Review

**Products in this post were provided to me by the manufacturer for my honest review. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated.**

Hello everyone!!! I know I've been on a little hiatus for the past month, but I've had a very good reason. I have been tirelessly working on organizing my new polish room! I will do a post with pictures and details later on, I promise!!

Getting back into the swing of things, I've got two lovely polishes from SuperChic Lacquer's new Diamond Heist Collection. The Diamond Heist Collection consists of five polishes and each one contains one carat (in weight) of genuine natural diamond dust. Yes, that's right! There is one carat in each bottle!! I was over the moon excited when I heard about these. For me, textured polishes are hit or miss. I have tried a couple good ones, and a couple that are completely awful. Jennifer, the woman behind SuperChic Lacquer, decided to do the textured thing in her own way and took it to a whole new level. I'm so glad she did!

Fancy is described as "an intimate pink diamond crusted, highly textured micro glitter formulation in a crystal clear base, embellished with 1 Carat weight of genuine natural diamond crystals, with accents of silver shimmer and subtle sparks of holographic effects".
Shown is three coats of Fancy without top coat.
Fancy is such a flirty polish. It's a lovely shade of soft pink. It is a clear based polish, with pink glitter, specks of silver shimmer and holographic glitter as well as that amazing diamond dust, and it dries to a textured finish. At least three coats is a must for full opacity.
$24

Flawless is described as "a pure white diamond crusted, highly textured micro glitter formulation in a crystal clear base, embellished with 1 Carat weight of genuine natural diamond crystals, accents of silver shimmer and subtle sparks of holographic effect".
Shown is three coats of Flawless without top coat.
White textured!!! You guys!! It's a lovely snow white textured polish. Yes, one that is actually really pretty. I haven't seen a white one that I liked. Then Flawless popped up. And, boy, is she flawless!! A clear based polish with white glitter, specks of silver shimmer and holographic glitter as well as that amazing diamond dust, and it dries to a textured finish. At least three coats is needed for full opacity.
$24

The application of these wasn't all that smooth. It wasn't difficult to work with either, but it dries so very quickly you can't really spread it. I mostly applied the first two coats by dabbing, then applied the third coat normally. This worked really well for me and it seemed to cover my whole nail with minimal bare spots. The textured finish is a bit rougher than Zoya's PixieDusts, but not as rough as the China Glaze textureds or others.

Because I love SuperChic Lacquer's Marvel Liquid Macro top coat, I decided to top both Fancy and Flawless with it to see if it changed the look of them. I had to do two coats of Marvel because it was still bumpy after one. Shown below are both Fancy and Flawless with top coat. Other than smoothing out the textured finish, there was no change visually. Marvel Liquid Macro top coat is a quick dry (about 30 seconds) and high gloss top coat that you can get for $6.50. Try it! You won't be sorry!

I don't know about you, but I love these! I love how different they are. There are three other colors in the Diamond Heist Collection:

Priceless: "a seductive black diamond crusted, highly textured micro glitter formulation in a crystal clear base, embellished with 1 Carat weight of genuine natural diamond crystals, accents of silver shimmer and subtle sparks of holographic effects"

Precious: "a sultry blue diamond crusted, highly textured micro glitter formulation in a crystal clear base, embellished with 1 Carat weight of genuine natural diamond crystals, accents of silver shimmer and subtle sparks of holographic effects"

Rarity: "a sweetheart red diamond crusted, highly textrued micro glitter formulation in a crystal clear base, embellished with 1 Carat weight of genuine natural diamond crystals, accents of silver shimmer and sparks of holographic effects"

Because of the diamond dust, and the amount of it used, each bottle will be $24. The Diamond Heist Collection will be releasing today! Make sure you follow all of SuperChic Lacquer's social media (all links are below) so you can be kept informed of releases and all information.

I think these look really interesting. Do you prefer them textured or with top coat?

Honestly, I enjoyed it both ways! I would probably wear it textured, and if I wanted to make it last longer, I'd add the top coat later on. It wasn't a texture that bothered me.

These are really pretty. Is the texture rough on them?

Naked Without Polish said...

Amy, if you read, I say that it's a bit more rough than the original Zoya PixieDust but not as rough as the China Glaze, OPI, and others.

I'm not the biggest fan of textured polishes, but one thing I am obsessed with is the Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat! That stuff is perfection in a bottle. Keeps my manis shiny for days!

Naked Without Polish said...

Right?! Obsessed!! And I love that it doesn't get thick and gloopy too!

These are pretty interesting! I love the bottles!

These are interesting. I can't justify $24 for a polish though :( Beautiful swatches Becky!

Naked Without Polish said...

Karen, her bottles are so much fun!

Naked Without Polish said...

Manna, yeah, $24 is a lot for a polish, but cheap for diamonds! LOL

I don't have great luck with textured polishes....but diamond dust just seems like something every polish collection should have! And I love the colors of these

These are super pretty! Textured is my favorite polish finish, so I'd be curious to give these a try. But that price! :S

great texture polishes... but a bit more pricey!! :O

These are beautiful texture polishes. Though price is on higher side, that snow effect white Texture is rare to find..

Naked Without Polish said...

NailGlitterPrincess on Instagram layered the black one and Flawless and it looks beautiful!

Naked Without Polish said...

Oh, that would be so much fun!!

Naked Without Polish said...

Thank you!

Naked Without Polish said...

RIGHT?! Other than the price, I completely agree! haha

Naked Without Polish said...

The price is a bit much, but if you think about it, it's a cheap price for diamonds!! haha

Naked Without Polish said...

Yeah, but that's for the diamonds.

Naked Without Polish said...

Highly recommend getting at least one!

Naked Without Polish said...

I agree! I was so excited about the white! The price is for the diamonds, so in all reality, it's cheap. haha

Never seen such polishes before. They are very pretty. Their texture is very unique.

Love the shape of the bottles. These almost look like caviar nails!

The colors are lovely and the diamonds make this a great novelty item, but I don't know if I would ever actually use it, and at $24 a pop, it's a bit on the too-expensive side, even for a novelty. And I didn't really notice the diamonds :(

Nadia Mamaheartspolish said...

These are very interesting, I like Flawless. It's not something I have the budget for but if I did, I might consider these collectors items.

Naked Without Polish said...

They really are very unique!

Naked Without Polish said...

I don't blame you! The price is steep, and textures are hit or miss for everyone. Definitely one of those things you love or hate.

Naked Without Polish said...

The bottles really are so much fun!

Naked Without Polish said...

The diamond dust really does get mixed in with the silver shimmer and holographic shimmer. Hard to find it in that mix.

Naked Without Polish said...

They really are collectors items!

AlpsNailart said...

Haha..i guess, if we make nail polish ring, painting Cabochon with this diamond polish, we can flaunt it as Diamond Ring..lol..but i bet it will look very pretty..
