I love Fall and Winter weather and dark cozy colors, but as much as I hate warmer weather and migraines brought on by the sun, I LOVE SPRING COLLECTIONS!!! I mean how can you not?! Bright colors and fun glitters. They'll put anyone in a good mood.

Today, not only do I have the Spring Collection from Killer Queen Varnish to show you, but I have some lovely songs for you to listen to while you're reading and looking. All of Killer Queen Varnish's polishes are named after songs. It is only appropriate that I include the songs in my post to help set the mood.

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Shake Sugaree is described as "a happy springy green that shimmers blue-green".
Shown is three coats of Shake Sugaree.
Shake Sugaree is named after an old song that has been covered many times, but the one I've put below is her favorite version and the one she named this beauty after. This polish is bright and full of life. This shimmery crelly is perfectly opaque and evened out after three coats. Greens like this always remind me of new beginnings and new life. It's beautiful!

Digital Witness is described as "a topper of micro holo black hexes, micro matte mint green hexes, and micro matte chiffon pink hexes".
Shown is one coat of Digital Witness over China Glaze Japanese Koi.
Digital Witness is named after the St. Vincent song I've put below. It is so simple, but so incredibly flirty and refreshing. It can be worn on it's own, should be fully opaque in 3 to 4 coats, or as a topper. A couple of her other swatchers swatched it on it's own, so I decided to use it as a topper. If you're going to use Digital Witness as a topper, a little goes a long way. I love this pairing and I'm so glad I did it! I couldn't stop looking at it.

Silver Lining is described as "a medium grey that sparkles lightly holographic in the sun".
Shown is three coats of Silver Lining.
Silver Lining is named after the Rilo Kiley song I've put below. I was beyond excited when she told me she was working on a grey holo for the Spring line. Then, when it arrived, I was immediately in love. It's the perfect shade of grey! Three thin coats for full opacity and a barrel full of happiness.

Electric Love is described as "a glitter topper with matte white triangles, micro and small bright pink hexes, micro white hexes and small lilac and bright yellow hexes".
Shown is one coat of Electric Love over China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise.
Electric Love is named after the BØRNS song I've put below. This topper is amazing! I love matte glitter. I loved this polish before it was on my nails. Then, over Turned Up Turquoise, it came to life. Those two polishes are polar opposites, but, when put together, they were meant to be.

Dreamer is described as "a purple holo".
Shown is three coats of Dreamer.
Dreamer is named after the song by Isbells that I've put below. It is one of the most perfect purples I have ever put on my nails. I love a good purple polish and I have several in my top 5...no, top 10...no, top 20 favorite purples (can you really narrow it down to less than that, because I can't). This blew past so many to make it into that list. Three coats for full opacity and a whole lot of sunlight (a flashlight would do if you really had issues finding a good source of light) and you would be set for life. Trust me!

Did you enjoy the polishes?! What about the music?! Aren't the songs lovely?! I had never heard any of them before finding them for this post. It's so gloomy here today, so I needed the bright colors and lovely music to lift my spirits.

The whole five piece collection is available now on her Etsy shop for $40.75 (which is a savings of $4.50 if you bought all five separately). Alone, the bottles range from $8.75 to $9.50. Sommer takes such care of every aspect of creating the polishes in her shop. Once you have them in your hand, and even listen to the songs she found inspiration in, you really appreciate all she has put into making your nails look so fabulous!

She's got a new Facebook page so check it, and her other links, out below!
