If Monday wasn't bad enough, last night my daughter got a horrible fever. I thought I was going to have to take her to the ER it was so bad. So, I'm nursing her today and helping her get better. I hate when she is sick. Makes me so sad. Anyway, she's napping so I'm typing this up before checking her temperature again.

A couple months ago a friend sent me this bottle of NailNation3000 Giorgio's Holo. We were talking about brands and she was raving about NailNation3000. I had never tried the brand. Frankly, nothing I had seen from them was original or looked worth the price. Those are just my impressions of the brand before trying them. Browse the photos, and my final impression will be at the end.

Giorgio's Holo is a navy blue shimmer base with linear holo.
Shown is three coats of Giorgio's Holo.

When I first got this bottle, I did what I always do...open the bottle to check out the brush, see if I needed to clean polish of the top of the bottle, and get a feel for the consistency. I barely got the brush all the way out before I had to immediately close it due to the smell. You know when you're walking in a mall and you get halfway down a wing and you know there's a nail salon at the end because the stench is just awful? Yeah, that's the smell you get when opening a bottle of NailNation3000 polish. Instant headache. I closed it up and set it aside until I could figure out how I was going to swatch it.

I set this polish aside. I kept passing over it. Not only was I afraid of it because of my scent induced migraines and that smell, but I just wasn't feeling it. I love a good navy, but there just wasn't anything to get excited about here. One day, I was cleaning out our cats' litter box. I was putting on the mask I wear to protect me from the smell, I knew I found my answer! I sucked it up, put the mask on and swatched away.

Formula was decent, but the polish itself did nothing for me. Honestly, I wasn't impressed with it before I even opened the bottle and was turned off by the smell. I have nothing against NailNation3000, it is just not the brand for me. I know there are several people who love her products, and we are all allowed to have our own opinions. Until she uses different products to create her polishes, and get a little more creative with her polishes...I just can't use them.

If you're one who doesn't have issues with polishes with strong smells and want to give them a shot...all of their links are below.
