Cameo Colours Lacquers Know Them, Be Them, Raise Them Collection Swatch and Review

Today, I took my daughter to school for her first day of first grade. (I'm going to get sappy here for a moment.) Taking her to school isn't hard on me at all. (I'm not saying that like I'm some cold-hearted bitch. I am an emotional wreck most of the time.) Most of the back to school posts are "Oh, I'll miss him/her so much! Why couldn't they wait another year to go./Can't they start next week?" That's not me. My daughter has always craved learning. She's also very independent. She's never-ever cried when having to be away from us, so why shouldn't I embrace her adventurous spirit too? I love my daughter with all my heart, but that attachment is what makes us want to protect them and be a bit selfish and want to keep them to ourselves. If I protect her though, and choose to be selfish, who am I really hurting? Am I hurting her? No, not if it's only once in a while. She loves cuddling up and reading together or coloring or playing games. Really, I'm hurting everyone else. If she is ready to go and conquer, who am I to stop her? That's the only way she's going to be able to change the world...right? She can't do it from under my wing. If I get teary eyed it's because I'm overwhelmed with pride. Not even 6 years old and she talks of the future like she's got it planned out just as she wants it. So, bring it on, first grade! Let's see what you've got in store for us this year!!

So, in honor of my daughter's adventurous spirit, and her taking on the world one day at a time, I figured I would show off the incredible Know Them, Be Them, Raise Them Collection that Cameo Colours Lacquers is releasing next week. This collection is inspired by and named after strong, wonderful women that have paved the way in different fields for women everywhere. Women we look up to in one way or another, whether we realize it or not. Just take a peek for yourself...

Firstly, if you don't know much about these women, please do yourself a favor and read up on them. They are each amazing in their own way. You'll feel inspired and so incredibly proud of what they did and went through.

Now...what did you think about the collection? Gorgeous colors, right?! The formula on these is incredible. They were perfect with two coats, but I did a third for good measure and extra sparkle. I mean...why not? YAY FOR FALL COLORS!!! She killed it with the colors. Each one so perfect with that little something extra hidden inside.

If you've never ordered from Cameo Colours Lacquers before, the Know Them, Be Them, Raise Them Collection just might be the collection you should start with. It's incredibly well rounded and versatile. The collection will be released on September 1st at 7 pm EST. The full collection will be $45 and each bottle will be $8 individually. Don't miss out on these!
