Lorelei Lacquer The Legend of Flakies Collection Swatch and Reivew

I don't envy you all and your wallets at all this weekend. There are SO MANY amazing collections coming out this weekend. Guess what?! I have another one to show you today! This time we have a mini collection from Loreleli Lacquer. This time, it's The Legend of Zelda inspired 4 piece The Legend of Flakies Collection. If you are a fan of the video game, or not, you're going to jump all over these. These are gorgeous and embrace the inspiration so beautifully. Jeanine did a phenomenal job. Enough chit-chat...let's get to the good stuff!
**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
First off, I have to show you the adorable packaging! She wrapped them to look like little bomb bags. Definitely makes me want to wrap some polish up and carry them with me to use later! Why not, right?!
Hero of the Day
Hero of the Day is described as "an avocado green crelly with an intense green shimmer and filled with copper/green/blue/purple multichrome flakies".
Shown is three coats of Hero of the Day with top coat.
Hero of the Day is inspired by Link, the video game's main character.
It had a beautiful application, but it is on the sheer side so at least three coats is necessary.
Heart Container
Heart Container is described as "a berry pink holo with red metallic flakies".
Shown is two coats of Heart Container with top coat.
Heart Container is inspired by the heart containers where your lives are stored in the game.
Heart Container is such a beautiful purple-ish pink. The polish itself is lovely, and had a great application, but some of the flakies were misshapen and had to be picked out. It wasn't an issue for me, I usually have to do that with metallic flakies. The ones that don't give you problems really are necessary and round out the beauty of the polish.

Hey! Listen!
Hey! Listen! is described as "a grey crelly with an intense blue shimmer, blue/purple shifting iridescent flakies, micro flecks of gold, and metallic royal blue and fuchsia medium-sized hexes".

Hey! Listen! is inspired by Navi, Link's fairy companion.
Hey! Listen! is so freaking pretty! The shimmers and iridescence gives this polish the etherealness of the fairy, the glitter just ads that little something extra. Originally this polish was a really pretty brown, but it looked a little out of place. I'm so happy she captured Navi in this grey goddess of a polish.
Zelda's Lullaby
Zelda's Lullaby is described as "a lilac polish with pink/purple/green/gold multichrome flakies, linear holo, as well as pink and blue hidden shimmers".
Shown is two coats of Zelda's Lullaby with top coat.
Zelda's Lullaby is inspired by the music played throughout the game.
*sigh* Zelda's Lullaby is effing gorgeous. I put it on to swatch and just sat and stared at it for I don't know how long. It applied like a dream and has such an incredible formula. Don't miss out on this one.

When you buy the full collection, you'll also get two different vinyl decals that Vinyl It Up created just for this collection. You'll get: the triforce symbol from The Legend of Zelda, and Lorelei Lacquer's signature mermaid.
Vinyls
I added the triforce symbol over Hero of the Day. It peeled off in one motion and all together. Easy to use and apply.
Of course Lorelei Lacquer's mermaid had to go over Zelda's Lullaby. Once again, easy to remove and apply.
What a gorgeous set of four, right?! The Legend of Flakies Collection will be released September 1st at 12:01 am. The set will be available for $40 and will include: the set of four full sized polishes, two sets of vinyls from Vinyl It Up, AND shipping! The Legend of Flakies Collection will not be available in minis, and these will only be available in the set on the first day. On September 2nd, you can get Zelda's Lullaby and Heart Container for $10 each, and Hero of the Day and Hey! Listen! for $9 each. You will only get both of the vinyls with the full set.
