Anchor and Heart Lacquer November 2016 Fan Favorites Duo Swatch and Review

**Press Samples**

Well, I've kept quiet long enough. I try to hold off posting about the Anchor & Heart Lacquer Fan Favorites Duos until mid month so you all have a chance to get them as a slight mystery if swatches are a big late. She had plenty of swatches, but now it's my turn to show these beauties off. Taryn doesn't always have a theme for her duos, but this month she took inspiration from Mindy Kaling and her dedication to empowering other women. Personally, she's definitely someone I'd want in my corner. And with that slightly weak set up, I give you the November 2016 Fan Favorites Duo! Keep reading...you won't regret it.
**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Why Not Me? is described as "a lavender/fuchsia scattered holo jelly polish with light blue flash, tiny gold flakes, and a subtle metallic finish".
Shown is two coats of Why Not Me? with top coat.
Why Not Me? is a girly pink leaning lavender. It will make you tilt your head to the side and smile. You'll find yourself feeling like a puppy for a moment. You may get side-tracked and feel the need to google "cute puppy videos", but I wouldn't recommend that. If you do, you're turning yourself into your very own "If you Give a Mouse a Cookie" book. When you eventually make it back to the polish, you'll see the beautiful dimension that the gold flakes and holo shimmer gives this beauty. It seems simple, but she took care with making this with a gentle hand.

A Little Bit Brave is described as "an emerald jelly polish with UCC flakies that shift purple/pink/blue/green, subtle blue shimmer, and a scattering of purple holo glitter in several sizes".
Shown is two coats of A Little Bit Brave with top coat.
A Little Bit Brave made me immediately think of Merida, from the movie Brave. It wasn't the inspiration though, as I stated at the beginning of the post. Flawless color and application. The only issue I had was all the fun glitters wouldn't come out to play. I set it upside down in hopes I would. The moved around, I just couldn't get any on my brush. It didn't stop this polish from being drop dead gorgeous though. This one is screaming to have a plaid print painted or stamped over it.
